Tottenham v Man City: Combined XI's

CURRENT COMBINED 11:

GK: EDERSON - Ederson had to be the keeper in this team. He's brilliant with the ball at his feet and is also a very sharp shot stopper. He's key to the way City play and what he does makes him one of the best keepers in the league.

RB: KYLE WALKER - I picked Walker as the right back because he's good both going forward and defensively where he has improved a lot this season. He's been one of the best right backs in the Premier League over the last five or so seasons and still is because of the attributes he has both defensively and going forward.

CB: TOBY ALDERWEIRELD - Alderweireld is in because he's been one of the best centre backs in the league over the last few seasons. He's good in the air because of his height and he always times his tackles to perfection. He makes Spurs a better team at the back.

CB: AYMERIC LAPORTE - There was no way that I would leave Laporte out. He's good with the ball at his feet which is key to the way that City play and is solid defensively. City are not the same defensively when he's not in the team which was the case last season whilst he was injured.

LB: SERGIO REGUILON - I've gone with Reguilon at left back because he's made a decent start to life at Spurs by being solid defensively and a threat going forward. He's been a good signing for Spurs so far this season and he's in my team because City don't have many convincing left backs at the moment.

RM: RAHEEM STERLING - There was no way that I was not leaving Sterling out of this team. He's the best right winger out of the two clubs and has grown into one of the best attacking players in Europe over the last few seasons. He's scoring 15+ goals a season and that has been down to better decision making in the final third.

CM: KEVIN DE BRUYNE - KDB just had to in. He's easily the best player in the Premier League because of the amount of chances he creates and his range of passing. He's arguably the best midfielder in the world as well as the Premier League.

CM: FERNANDINHO - He may be getting on, but Fernandinho still deserves a place in this team. He can dictate a game in midfield and stop opposition attacks by making a latch ditch tackle before an opponent breaks away. I've out him ahead of Hojbjerg because he's more proven in the Premier League.

LM: SON HEUNG MIN - I've put Son on the left because he's the best left sided attacker out of the two clubs. He's grown into a key player for Spurs over the last few seasons and Spurs are a better team when he plays because of his pace and clinical finishing in front of goal.

ST: SERGIO AGUERO - I had to put Aguero in this team because of the player he is and the player he's been throughout his career. He can score any kind of goal and on his day can be a nightmare for defenders because of his movement and how clinical he is in front of goal.

ST: HARRY KANE - No way I was leaving Kane out of this team. He's a complete striker because he scores goals and he also creates chances for his teammates. He's been this player for most of his career and he's inthis team because of the amount of goals he's scored since he's been at Spurs.

ALL TIME COMBINED 11:

GK: JOE HART - If I had to choose a keeper to play for both clubs, I would go with Hart because at his best he was one of the best keepers in the league because of the amount of top class saves he made. He's won more golden gloves than any other keeper and always delivered in big games when at his best.

RB: PABLO ZABALETA - I've picked Zabaleta at right back because he was one of the best right backs in the league when at his best. He was solid defensively and was a threat going forward by getting balls into the box. He was an integral part of City's early success in the Mansour era.

CB: VINCENT KOMPANY - Kompany had to be in this team because he was a leader and a solid defender by making well timed tackles and being good in the air. He made a City a better team defensively when he was available because of his leadership and defensive ability.

CB: TOBY ALDERWEIRELD - I've put Alderweireld in because I think he's been Spurs' best centre back in the Premier League era. He made Spurs a better team defensively when they signed him and he's gone to be one of the best centre backs in the Premier League since he's been at Spurs.

LB: ALEKSANDAR KOLAROV - Kolarov was a complete full back. Defensively he was reasonably solid and going forward was dangerous. He was a brilliant crosser of the ball during his time at City and was also deadly from set pieces with his free kicks and corners hard to defend against.

RM: GARETH BALE - I may have left him out of the current combined 11, but there was no way I was leaving Bale out of this one. He was a nightmare for defenders in his first spell at Spurs because of his pace and the goals he scored from almost anywhere on the pitch. These helped him develop into a world class player until injuries hit him hard.

CM: KEVIN DE BRUYNE - It was between De Bruyne and Eriksen and in the end I went with De Bruyne. This is because he can play any kind of pass from anywhere on the pitch and he also creates lots of chances from anywhere on the pitch as well which is why I've out him in.

CM: DAVID SILVA - There was no chance that I was going to leave David Silva out of this team. The Spaniard was an absolute magician during his time at City and the signing of him took City onto another level because of the creativity he offered in midfield.

LM: RAHEEM STERLING - Out of all the left sided wingers from both clubs, I picked Sterling because he scored more goals than the others during their time at either Spurs or City. He did miss a lot of chances early on in his career but his recent improvement in front of goal is why he's in this team.

ST: SERGIO AGUERO - I've put Aguero in because of the amount of goals he's scored since he's been at City. His goals have taken City onto the next level and have given him a legendary status at the club. I was never leaving him out of this team.

ST: HARRY KANE - I've put Kane in because of the player he has grown into since bursting onto the scene back in 2014. He's become an all round striker by scoring and creating goals which have made him one of the best striker in Europe.
