A number of new faces have lit up the Premier League this season but there have been some who have been disappointing. The good ones will be best remembered and I've ranked my best 20 of them.
Now let's see who I've got on my shortlist.
20. Edson Alvarez - Ajax to West Ham - £35.4 million
Alvarez arrived at the Hammers as Declan Rice's replacement and he made the step up instantly. He protected the back four well and his presence there allowed the forward players to flourish at the other end.
19. Anthony Elanga - Man United to Nottingham Forest - £15 million
Elanga didn't get enough game time at United so he decided to jump ship to Forest where he has taken every opportunity given to him. 5 goals and 9 assists marks a decent debut season for him at the City Ground and his contributions were to key to Forest beating the drop.
18. Ross Barkley - Nice to Luton - Free
Barkley was a player revitalised at Luton this season in a new deeper role. He gave the Hatters that extra bit of quality when they needed it and also dictated play in midfield. Luton may have gone down, but Barkley still had an impressive season.
17. Callum Hudson-Odoi - Chelsea to Nottingham Forest - £5 million
Hudson-Odoi was beginning to lose his way a bit over the last few years but since he's been at Forest, he's got his career back on track. He scored 8 goals as Forest beat the drop this season which marks a decent debut campaign as he reminded everyone of his ability.
16. Brennan Johnson - Nottingham Forest to Tottenham - £47.5 million
Johnson proved himself to be a valuable player for Spurs this season both off the bench and as a starter. 5 goals and 10 assists marks a good debut campaign for the Welsh winger who is set to be a key player for Spurs in the future.
15. Malo Gusto - Lyon to Chelsea - £26. 3 million
Gusto has been one of the very few decent signings Chelsea have made under their current ownership as he's been one of Chelsea's better performers in what has been another tough campaign. He did a solid job at both ends and stepped up brilliantly in the absence of Reece James.
14. Adam Wharton - Blackburn to Crystal Palace - £22 million
Palace were a completely different side towards the end of the season and Wharton was one of the reasons why. He's brought everything to the Palace midfield including creativity and tenacity as he made many crucial challenges and created a lot of chances for his teammates. He's been so good that he was included in England's provisional squad for the Euros.
13. Mohammed Kudus - Ajax to West Ham - £38 million
It took him a couple of months to going but once he was up to speed, Kudus started delivering. He registered 8 goals and 6 assists in his debut season with the Hammers as he went on to become one of their key players.
12. Wataru Endo - Stuttgart to Liverpool - £16.2 million
Endo was arguably the bargain of the season because of the impact he had on the reds midfield. It took him time to get going, but once he was up and running, he instantly became a key player for the reds due to his endless energy and tenacity.
11. James Ward-Prowse - Southampton to West Ham - £30 million
West Ham have been one of the best teams from set pieces over the last few years the signing of Ward-Prowse made them more dangerous from those positions. His deliveries from both open play and from set pieces caused many teams problems and he was unlucky not to have earned an England recall.
10. James Maddison - Leicester to Tottenham - £40 million
Spurs were lacking a creativity ever since Christian Eriksen left and Maddison brought that instantly. He was a big miss for them when he was out injured as Spurs' promising start to the season faded away badly. Had it not been for that injury, he might've been higher up the list.
9. Dominik Szoboszlai - RB Leipzig to Liverpool - £60 million
The reds' midfield lack energy last season and Szoboszlai brought that the moment he arrived along with creativity and a goal threat. His form may have faded after an encouraging start, but he's still been a good enough signing to be on this list.
8. Jeremy Doku - Rennes to Man City - £55.5 million
Doku got fans off their seats whenever he was on the pitch due to his pace and ability to beat players with skill. He registered 3 goals and 8 assists as City won a fourth consecutive title and his form kept Jack Grealish out of the team most weeks.
7. Kai Havertz - Chelsea to Arsenal - £67.5 million
It took time for Havertz to get going in an Arsenal shirt and once he was up running, he went on to become a key player for them. His 13 goals and 7 assists were key to the Gunners' title challenge and his change in position to the false 9 role helped massively with that.
6. Guglielmo Vicario - Empoli to Tottenham - £16.2 million
Spurs needed a reliable stopper after years of Hugo Lloris howlers and they found one in Vicario. He kept Spurs in games time and time again this season by making many crucial saves and without him, Spurs might not have finished where they did.
5. Moussa Diaby - Bayer Leverkusen to Aston Villa - £51 million
Diaby took Villa onto another level when he arrived as he added some extra quality and flair to the Villa attack. His 6 goals and 8 assists were crucial to Villa finishing in the top four and he was the signing that took them onto that next step.
4. Alexis Mac Allister - Brighton to Liverpool - £35 million
It took time for Mac Allister to get going at Liverpool and once he was, he went on to become a key player for them. He did a decent job when asked to play in the no.6 role and when he was pushed further up the pitch, he made more of a difference as he scored some crucial goals brought a lot of energy to the midfield.
3. Micky Van De Ven - Wolfsburg to Tottenham - £43 million
Van De Ven has been solid at the back all season for Spurs by making many crucial interventions whenever his team needed him to. Spurs were a much better team defensively when he was available because without him, they weren't as strong.
2. Cole Palmer - Man City to Chelsea - £42.5 million
Out of all the signings Chelsea have made under their current ownership, Palmer has been by far the best of them. He carried the blues all season as he registered 22 goals and 11 assists to help them qualify for Europe. Without him, the blues might've been in a relegation fight.
1. Declan Rice - West Ham to Arsenal - £105 million
Many eyebrows were raised when Arsenal paid that amount of money and he was worth every penny of it. Rice was the main reason why Arsenal were a better team this season because of the tenacity and energy he brought to the midfield as well as his leadership. He's also developed his game further by proving himself to be more than a defensive midfielder as he added more goals to his game.
