Is the pressure off Graham Potter at Chelsea?
Chelsea appear to be turning a corner in their season after winning three consecutive games in all competitions after a difficult run of results beforehand. The results will give them confidence moving forward but in terms of manager Graham Potter, Is the pressure off him?
Potter has a hard time since arriving at Chelsea both on and off the field and he'll be feeling confident that he can turn Chelsea's season around following their recent results. Performances are beginning to improve and the team is looking more cohesive after an influx of new arrivals in January.
Their recent results will ease the pressure on Potter but won't exactly take the pressure off him completely. The blues are still 10th in the Premier League and still unlikely to finish in the four. Their problems in front of goal could still come back to bite them as well.
Chelsea and Potter do have some confidence on board moving forward but for the pressure to be off Potter completely, they need to carry this form into their next few games.
Trossard gives Arsenal strength in depth
Leandro Trossard was signed by Arsenal to provide cover for and strength in depth for their attack and he's certainly done that. He's registered 1 goal and 5 assists since joining from Brighton and 3 of his 5 assists came in one game against Fulham on Sunday. His performance in that game showed that Arsenal have some strength in depth to their attack.
He might not be a regular in the side when Arsenal have all their attacking players fit as the wide areas will probably be filled by Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. But his form since joining from Brighton will give him confidence that he can make a difference whenever he's on the pitch. Whether that be off the bench or as a starter.
Every title challenging team needs to have some strength in depth in order to go the full distance and Arsenal's has been questioned at times during the season. But with Trossard getting off to a good start they finally have the strength in depth in attack to go the distance in the title race.
