GK: ROBERT SANCHEZ (CHELSEA) - Sanchez kept more clean sheets than any other keeper in September with two, and he made a number of important saves to keep Chelsea in games. He had an absolute blinder against Bournemouth earlier in the month and after losing his place towards the end of last season, he's shown why he's been Enzo Maresca's preferred choice.
RB: JURRIEN TIMBER (ARSENAL) - Timber has been ever present in the Arsenal side this season, after missing the entirety of last season out injured. He put in some good performances right throughout September by being solid defensively and offering a threat going forward when needed. He's felt like a new signing for the Gunners.
CB: GABRIEL (ARSENAL) - Gabriel scored in both of Arsenal's big games in September against Spurs and Man City, and both goals came from set pieces. He was excellent in his defensive work as well and is beginning to become one of the best central defenders in the Premier League.
CB: IBRAHIMA KONATE (LIVERPOOL) - Konate has started the season in decent form by putting in some solid performances in the Liverpool backline. He netted the opener in Liverpool's win at Wolves and he was always there to make a crucial defensive block when they needed him to.
LB: LEVI COLWILL (CHELSEA) - Colwill looked solid right throughout September as Chelsea found some much needed consistency. He's been ever present in the Chelsea side under Enzo Maresca, and he is repaying the faith the Italian has in him.
RW: COLE PALMER (CHELSEA) - Palmer scored 5 goals during September including a four-goal blitz against Brighton in Chelsea's final game of the month. He's started this season how he ended the last and is proving himself not to be a one-season wonder.
CM: RYAN GRAVENBERCH (LIVERPOOL) - Liverpool may have missed out on a new defensive midfielder during the summer, but Gravenberch has stepped into the role brilliantly. He was excellent right throughout September as he won the ball back countless times and controlled the flow of the game in midfield. He's been key to how Liverpool have played under Arne Slot.
CM: MORGAN ROGERS (ASTON VILLA) - Rogers has started the season brilliantly for Villa and is surely now a guaranteed starter for them. He registered 1 goal and 2 assists in September as Villa kept up their good start and if he keeps up this kind of form, he could become a key player for Villa.
LW: LUIS DIAZ (LIVERPOOL) - I questioned Diaz's end product last season as I didn't think he was contributing enough in terms of goals. He's clearly worked on that over the summer as he already has 5 to his name and 4 of them came in September. If he can keep adding more goals to his name, he could finally prove himself as the replacement for Sadio Mane.
ST: NICOLAS JACKSON (CHELSEA) - Jackson is beginning to silence his doubters this season and he certainly did that during September, as he scored 3 goals across the whole month. If he can keep up this kind of form, he could finally prove himself to be a good enough centre forward for Chelsea.
ST: OLLIE WATKINS (ASTON VILLA) - Watkins scored 4 times during September and all of them were crucial to Villa getting the results they got. He's been on top of his game all month and he's had to be, due to the form Jhon Duran has been in from the bench.
