SATURDAY:
SOUTHAMPTON V MAN UNITED
Southampton are still waiting for their first point back in the Premier League and I already fear for them. They lack a clinical no.9 at the top end of the pitch and they've been naïve in the way they play.
They were caught out on a number of occasions when trying to play out from the back against Brentford and they got punished for it.
They're not going to change the way they play and I fear that they might end up like Burnley, who were also punished for trying to play out from the back many times last season.
Man United were outclassed by Liverpool before the international break and the pressure is once again back on manager Erik Ten Hag.
New signing Manuel Ugarte could make his debut here and I hope he does because they could've done with him against Liverpool after Casemiro's nightmare performance.
United have to show a reaction here after what happened against Liverpool and their fans will be expecting one.
I don't think they'll play to their best, but I do think they'll find a way to win.
PREDICTION: 0-2
BRIGHTON V IPSWICH
Brighton have started the last few seasons very well and have done so again under new manager Fabian Hurzeler. They're 3rd in the league and have already taken points off both Man United and Arsenal.
Ipswich got their first point on the board before the international break against Fulham which was a good result for them. Especially after the tough start they had.
They'll now be looking to build on that as they have some winnable games coming up over the next few weeks.
Brighton have been good at home in the past and although I can see a spirited Ipswich performance here, I think the Seagulls will come out on top here.
PREDICTION: 2-0
CRYSTAL PALACE V LEICESTER
Crystal Palace made some good signings during the summer their three deadline day signings in Eddie Nketiah, Trevor Chalobah and Maxence Lacroix could make their debuts in this one.
Keeping Marc Guehi was crucial for Oliver Glasner's side as was keeping Eberechi Eze, who earned the Eagles a point at Chelsea before the international break.
Leicester also got some deals done late in the transfer window including the signing of Jordan Ayew, who returns to his former club for the first time here.
The Foxes won their appeal against a points deduction during the international break and they'll be relieved that they no longer have that cloud hanging over them.
But on the pitch they need to get results after picking up just a point from their opening three games.
Both sides haven't started the season the way they hoped to, but if one team is to get off the mark here it's Palace. Especially as they're at home where they have been strong in the past.
PREDICTION: 2-0
FULHAM V WEST HAM
Fulham did the double over West Ham last season including a 5-0 win in this fixture. They'll surely be looking to do the same again this season.
Marco Silva's side had a good record at home last season and they're already off the mark at home this season, beating Leicester in their only home game so far this season.
West Ham had their moments against Man City before the international break with most of them coming in the second half, where they had more of a go. But they weren't able to make the most of them and were ultimately beaten by the better side.
The Hammers' only win this season came away from home against Crystal Palace which will give them confidence.
But with Fulham having a strong record at home, I think they'll again come out on top here.
PREDICTION: 2-0
LIVERPOOL V NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Liverpool have made a very good start under Arne Slot after winning and keeping clean sheets in all three of their games so far this season.
They're more in control of games under Slot than they were under Jurgen Klopp which is the only difference between the two managers. The energy and work rate off the ball is still the same but on the ball, they control games better and are not as rushed.
Nottingham Forest have made a fairly solid start this season, winning one and drawing two of their games so far. Their sole win came away from home against Southampton, where they have struggled ever since they've been in the Premier League.
Following that up with another away win here will be tricky because of the strong start Liverpool have made and the strong record they have at home.
Because of this I can only see a Liverpool win here.
PREDICTION: 2-0
MAN CITY V BRENTFORD
Man City could have Phil Foden back for this one after missing the international break and City's two previous games through illness. His return will definitely be massive boost for the champions if he des make an appearance here.
Jack Grealish will also be hoping to make an appearance after impressing in both of England's games during the international break. His performances in both games will have reminded Pep of what he can offer and his qualities as a player.
Brentford begin life without Ivan Toney in this one following his move to Saudi side Al-Ahli on deadline day. I don't think the Bees will miss him as Mbeumo and Wissa are more than capable of stepping up. Both of them have done so again this season.
Thomas Frank's side have competed well against the big teams since they've in the Premier League and have had some memorable results against them, including a win from this fixture two seasons ago courtesy of an Ivan Toney double.
The Bees will definitely score here, but with City being strong at home and Erling Haaland starting the season in such good form, I can only see another City win and Haaland to bag yet another goal or two.
PREDICTION: 3-1
ASTON VILLA V EVERTON
Aston Villa will have Ollie Watkins back for this one after missing the international break due to injury. Watkins is yet to score for Villa this season, but having him back will be a massive boost for Villa
Unai Emery's side have had a decent record against Everton ever since they've been in the Premier League and with the state Everton are in, they'll more than fancy themselves of keeping up that record.
Everton will be glad that they've just had an international break which will have given Sean Dyche the chance to look back at his side's poor performances to see what went wrong, and come up with ways to work on the things that went wrong in training.
The Toffees will have gone into the break low on confidence after throwing away a two-goal lead in the final minutes against Bournemouth. That result will have been a real kick in the teeth and especially after leading for most of the match.
Sean Dyche will be hoping that his side show a reaction in this one, but I don't see it happening as I think Villa will win this one reasonably comfortably.
PREDICTION: 3-0
BOURNEMOUTH V CHELSEA
Bournemouth got off the mark before the international break with their late win at Everton where they showed character to come from behind and win the game late on.
Chelsea's last away game saw them put six goals past Wolves where they functioned well from an attacking point of view.
But their last game saw them drop points against Crystal Palace where they missed a number of good chances.
These two sides played out a goalless draw in this fixture last season and although I'm not expecting this one to play out that way, I however think the points will be shared.
PREDICTION: 1-1
SUNDAY:
TOTTENHAM V ARSENAL
Spurs will be kicking themselves for not taking their chances against Newcastle in a game where they had the better opportunities.
Ange Postecoglou's side have lost this fixture for the last two seasons, but they might fare better in this one as Arsenal will be without two key players in Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard.
Both players will be a massive loss for Arsenal in this one because of the impact they both have on the team in Rice's energy and tenacity and Odegaard's creativity.
Odegaard will obviously be a massive miss, but the Gunners do still have players who can cause Spurs problems in Saka, Martinelli, Trossard and Sterling, who could make his debut here.
Spurs will have more energy than Arsenal here because of the way they play, but they do waste a lot of chances like they did against Newcastle and in their first game against Leicester.
The Gunners will miss Rice and Odegaard, but with a solid defence alongside Spurs' wastefulness in front of goal, I can see them nick a draw here.
PREDICTION: 2-2
WOLVES V NEWCASTLE
Wolves got their first point on the board before the international break in their draw at Nottingham Forest and Gary O'Neil will want his side to build on it here.
Newcastle haven't been at their best in any of their three games so far this season and they had to dig deep to beat Spurs before the international break.
Eddie Howe wasn't happy with Newcastle's transfer business during the summer and understandably so as he didn't get the players he wanted through the door. Marc Guehi being the main example.
The last few meetings between these two sides in this fixtures have all ended in draws and I think this one will be the same.
Newcastle may have more quality in the final third than Wolves do, but Wolves have frustrated them in this fixture in the past and I think they'll do the same here.
PREDICTION: 1-1
