TUESDAY:
WOLVES V BURNLEY
Wolves have been in a lot of their games this season and they've also been unlucky not to have more points on the board. Mainly because of the amount of VAR decisions that have gone against them.
Burnley got a massive win on Saturday against Sheffield United which should give them a lot of confidence. But I don't think it was a turning point in their season as it was against a side who are also struggling and are arguably the worst team in the league.
Vincent Kompany has said recently that his side are adapting to the Premier League and I can sort of understand why he would say that as they put in a decent shift against West Ham the weekend before.
They'll be up against a much stronger opponent here who will pose more of a threat than Sheffield United did.
Wolves aren't the most clinical side in front of goal, but I do think they'll get chances here as Burnley are vulnerable defensively.
PREDICTION: 2-1
LUTON V ARSENAL
This is set to be Luton's toughest week since their return to the top flight as they face Man City after this tough one against Arsenal. They're about to find out how tough the Premier League really is.
They have competed well since the first few games of the season and they'll need to be at their very best is they're pull off something from both games. But I just can't see it.
Arsenal are beginning to look more like the team they were last season by playing more fluidly. They've got the majority of their results this season by being defensively solid but now they've freed themselves up a bit.
Luton will try and frustrate Arsenal just like they frustrated Liverpool last month. But I think the Gunners will find a way to win with the quality they have.
PREDICTION: 0-2
WEDNESDAY:
BRIGHTON V BRENTFORD
Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi has spoken about the amount of games his side have played on a number of occasions this season and are about to have even more of the next few weeks.
They'll still play their usual energetic attacking style of play as that's their identity and I don't see them changing that. But with the games coming in thick and fast, they're likely to pick up more injuries because of the amount of effort they put into games.
Brentford also have a lot of injuries they'll still go out there and perform as whoever comes in knows their job inside out. Thomas Frank will make sure of that.
These two played out an entertaining 3-3 draw last season and I think this one will be similar as both sides will no doubt go for it..
Brighton will cause problems from open play as they always do but they do struggle from set pieces. An area that Brentford are deadly from.
PREDICTION: 2-2
CRYSTAL PALACE V BOURNEMOUTH
Crystal Palace will again be without Eberechi Eze here and will be for the next week or so which is a massive blow for the Eagles. But they do have Michael Olise available which is obviously a much needed bonus.
Bournemouth have strung some good performance together in recent weeks and are playing the way that Andoni Iraola wants them to play.
They'll definitely dominate the game here as they're a side who like to have possession. But with Palace being a tough side to beat and offering a threat on the counter with the pace of Olise, I think the points will be shared here.
PREDICTION: 1-1
FULHAM V NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Fulham had a real go against Liverpool on Sunday and were unlucky not come away with at least a point. But Marco Silva still would;ve been pleased with the performance his side put in.
The Cottagers don't score many goals but they are a determined and resolute side who stay in games.
I fancy them to bounce back here because Forest are awful away from home and out of form.
I don't really understand why Steve Cooper is under pressure when his side are 15th in the league and six points above the relegation zone. His side might not be in great form but they are higher than they were this time last season which to me is progress.
Their objective at the start of the season was survival and they're on course to do that given where they are. I get the feeling that the owners want even more from him.
PREDICTION: 2-0
SHEFFIELD UNITED V LIVERPOOL
Paul Heckingbottom probably won't be in charge of Sheffield United by the time this game comes round with the club set to sack him within the next 24 hours.
Former boss Chris Wilder is set to take charge and he's someone who could bring back some much needed positivity to the club. He's someone that most of the players will know from his previous spell at the club and is someone who also knows the club.
Liverpool were lucky against Fulham who gave them one hell of a game on Sunday. The reds showed character to come from behind late on to win that game and their character is something they deserve credit for.
The reds will feel more comfortable here as I don't see Sheffield United causing them any sorts of problems. The reds have plenty of firepower in their attack and that should be enough for them to win this game.
PREDICTION: 0-3
ASTON VILLA V MAN CITY
Aston Villa's European aspirations are about to be put to the test this week starting this one followed by a tough clash against Arsenal at the weekend.
They're on such a good run of form when playing at home and I fancy them to extend it here as City are without Rodri.
Rodri picked up his 5th yellow card of the season against Spurs on Sunday meaning that he'll be suspended for this one. He's been a massive loss for City when he's been unnavailable and I can see City missing him again here.
They've been left vulnerable at the back of late when it's come to defending from counter attacks and I can see Villa expose that as they're a dangerous side on the counter.
City will of course have a lot of the ball, but I think will be strong enough to keep them out and hit them on the counter attack. Especially as they have a lot of pace in their attack.
PREDICTION: 2-0
MAN UNITED V CHELSEA
Man United were well off the pace against Newcastle on Sunday and especially off the ball. Their tracking back was poor and I see that as a major concern for them. Especially when going into games against teams near the top of the league.
Chelsea have had good results when taking on the big teams including a win at Spurs and draws with Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City. With United in a mess at the minute, they'll be feeling confident in getting another good result here.
But the only thing stopping them could be their inconsistency. They're a difficult team to work out Chelsea as one week they can be good but the next average.
I do think they'll get the win here though only because I think they'll put more effort in than United. Pochettino is a manager who wants his teams to press high and work hard off the ball and I can see Chelsea do that here.
PREDICTION: 0-2
THURSDAY:
EVERTON V NEWCASTLE
Everton were a much improved side against Nottingham Forest compared to the one that didn't turn up against Man United the week before. That win should give them something to build on after being deducted 10 points.
But their home form is a worry. They've won just once at Goodison all season and they need to rebuild that fortress they've had for the last couple of seasons if they're to stay up.
Newcastle were dealt another injury blow at the weekend with Nick Pope leaving the field with a shoulder injury which is a massive blow for them. Martin Dubravka will step in his place for the time being and he's someone who is more than capable of stepping up.
The Magpies do have a long list of injuries, but they do have a good recent record at Goodison Park - winning two of their last three there. With Everton struggling at home this season, I fancy the in-form Magpies to come away with the win here.
PREDICTION: 0-2
TOTTENHAM V WEST HAM
I predicted Spurs to get hammered by Man City because of all the injuries they had. But they went on and proved me wrong by going toe to toe with them and exposing them on the break.
Despite not having the creativity of James Maddison in their team, Spurs are still a dangerous side as they press relentlessly and are quick on counter attacks.
West Ham are also dangerous on the counter attack and they'll definitely look to hurt Spurs in these sort of scenarios as Spurs do play with a high line.
The Hammers will have joy from those scenarios, but I think Spurs will just edge this one as I think they'll have enough in the final third.
PREDICTION: 2-1
