SATURDAY:
MAN CITY V LIVERPOOL
These two sides used to be the teams to beat about a couple of seasons ago and this game could reignite the rivalry they once and still possibly had.
Man City could be without Erling Haaland after he picked up an injury whilst on international duty with Norway. But I don't see his absence affecting them here as Julian Alvarez is more than capable of stepping up.
City do have a number of players out injured heading into this game but I still expect them to come out on top.
This will be Liverpool's first big test of the season and one that could determine whether they're title contenders or not. Some people have put the reds down as City's closest challengers and we're about to find out if they are.
But I don't see them passing this test as their recent record at the Etihad is poor and City are on such a good run at home.
PREDICTION: 3-2
BURNLEY V WEST HAM
Burnley have lost all six of their home games this season and are the first side to do so in Premier League history. I only see that run extend here.
They're going to carry on playing the way they have done and I can see West Ham exploit the spaces they leave in behind. Especially when they're on the counter attack.
The Hammers will definitely cause them problems from set pieces which is an area where they're very strong. But I can also see them be as deadly from open play. Especially with a technician like James Ward-Prowse in their side.
PREDICTION: 1-3
LUTON V CRYSTAL PALACE
Luton have picked up just one point at home all season with that point coming in their last game at Kenilworth Road against Liverpool. A game they were unlucky not to win given the effort they put in.
Crystal Palace have already got the better of the other two newly promoted sides with both games like this one coming away from home.
They showed their Premier League quality and experience in their last away game against Burnley and I think they'll do the same here.
The Eagles will have both Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise available for the first time this season and I can see both make an impact in this one.
PREDICTION: 0-2
NEWCASTLE V CHELSEA
Newcastle went into the international break with a number of injuries and could have one or two of their injured players back for this one. Alexander Isak could be back after and his return would be a major boost for the Magpies. Especially with Callum Wilson out.
Chelsea have fared much better on the road than they have at home this season which might give them a chance here. They've also had better results when taking on teams near the top of the league.
But with Newcastle being at home where they have such a strong record, I think they'll just edge this one.
PREDICTION: 2-1
NOTTINGHAM FOREST V BRIGHTON
Nottingham Forest are again looking strong at home this season like they were for the majority of last season. They're currently unbeaten at the City Ground and I can see that unbeaten run being extended here.
Brighton haven't won a game since the middle of September and being in Europe has played a massive part as they've lost players to injury and have looked worn out in certain games.
The international break probably did them good as it will have given them time to recover and refresh after playing a a lot of games within a short space.
They might feel re-energised as a result of the international break but with Forest being the home team, I can see them fall short again.
PREDICTION: 1-1
SHEFFIELD UNITED V BOURNEMOUTH
Sheffield United went into the international break off the back of a win and a draw from their previous two games which will have given them something to build on.
They have the chance to build on those results further as they have a couple of winnable games coming up including this one.
Bournemouth's win over Newcastle before the international break was probably their best performance under Andoni Iraola and they'll be determined to build on it here.
I knew it would take time for them to get used to the way that Iraola wants them to play and after two wins from their last three, it looks like they've got the hang of it.
I do think that both sides will be down there this season, but I fancy Bournemouth to get themselves over the line here.
PREDICTION: 1-2
BRENTFORD V ARSENAL
Brentford are on a good run of form in London derbies with their last loss in the capital coming in this fixture last season.
They'll again back themselves to get something here as they have a good record when taking on the big teams and are strong at home.
Arsenal will have Aaron Ramsdale back in goal for this one with David Raya being ineligible to face his parent club. He'll be determined to prove a point here and show Mikel Arteta why he should be no.1. A position he never should have lost.
The bees will make it difficult for the Gunners like they do whenever they take on the top sides, but I think the away side will have enough quality to come out on top.
PREDICTION: 0-2
SUNDAY:
TOTTENHAM V ASTON VILLA
Spurs have been excellent so far this season but I think they might start becoming Spursy again as they have a number of players out injured and some difficult fixtures coming up.
Both Ricky Van De Ven and James Maddison are out till new year which is a massive blow as both of them have been excellent this season.
They missed Maddison's creativity against Wolves before the international break and they're likely to miss him more over the next few weeks. Starting with a tough trip to Man City next weekend.
Aston Villa have also been excellent and a win for them here would see them move above Spurs and into the top four.
They won this fixture 2-0 last season and I can see them bagging the same result here. They might not be as strong away as they are at home but with Spurs missing a number of key players through injury, I think Villa will take advantage of it.
PREDICTION: 0-2
EVERTON V MAN UNITED
These two clubs were arguably the most talked about during the international break with Everton obviously being deducted 10 points and Man United because of their takeover saga.
Everton were beginning to find some form before the points deduction hit them and they're now back in the bottom three as a result of it. All they can go now is go out there and perform so they can get some points on board.
Man United are the most in form team in the league at the moment which I find hard to believe as barely any of their performances have been convincing. Even in the games they've won.
I think they'll win this one as Everton have struggled at home but I think it will be a scrappy one though.
PREDICTION: 0-1
MONDAY:
FULHAM V WOLVES
I don't see there being many goals in this game as both sides don't score many.
Goals have been a massive struggle for Fulham this season and I fear that they might get sucked into a relegation battle for that very reason.
They are a resilient side though and it's their resilience that keeps them in games and gets thewm results.
Wolves were tipped by many to be in a relegation battle this season because of their situation in the summer. But Gary O'Neil has made sure that isn't the case as he's kept his side a good distance away from the bottom three.
This game will be close as both sides are tough to beat on their day. But I think they'll both cancel each other out here.
PREDICTION: 1-1
