SATURDAY:
BRENTFORD V BOURNEMOUTH
Brentford are unbeaten at home this season and their last two games at the Gtech were both goal fests. A 5-3 win over Wolves and a 4-3 win over Ipswich.
But they still have that problem of being unable to hold on to leads. They were a matter of minutes away from beating Fulham on Monday, only to concede two very late goals.
Bournemouth come into this game in good form after winning two of their last three, the wins coming against Arsenal and Man City at home.
Whilst their recent form will give them confidence, this one could be more challenging as Brentford are strong at home. I think they'll have to accept a draw here.
PREDICTION: 2-2
CRYSTAL PALACE V FULHAM
Crystal Palace were without Eberechi Eze against Wolves last weekend and will be without him till the end of the month due to a thigh injury.
Due to Eze being Palace's talisman and the Eagles having no one of his calibre in their side, I think they could struggle here.
Fulham needed two late Harry Wilson goals to beat Brentford on Monday and two well executed goals as well.
Marco Silva's side don't have the best of records away from home, as I have mentioned a few times already this season.
But with Palace being without Eze, I'm backing the Cottagers to win here.
PREDICTION: 0-2
WEST HAM V EVERTON
I'm not sure if Julen Lopetegui knows his best team at West Ham and there are many others who think the same.
I've read that the club could review his position if they lose this game which makes it a must win for him and his team. I do think he needs time as he's trying to implement a new style of football, but he does needs to start getting results.
Everton's mini-run was ended by Southampton last weekend, and Sean Dyche will want his side to start another one so they're not dragged back into the relegation mire.
The Toffees have a mixed record in this record, but they did win at the London Stadium last season.
West Ham have won their last two home games though, after losing their first three. I have a feeling that they'll make it a third straight success at home in this one.
PREDICTION: 2-1
WOLVES V SOUTHAMPTON
Wolves will have been disappointed not to come away with all the points last weekend against Crystal Palace, which was a good opportunity to get some points on the board.
At least they'll have another chance to get that first win in this one, which is against another struggling side in Southampton.
The Saints finally got their first win of the season last weekend against Everton which will hopefully give them a lot of confidence moving forward.
Although they're not as easy to play against as they were earlier in the season, I do think it will be Wolves' turn to get their first win as they have more firepower in attack.
PREDICTION: 2-1
BRIGHTON V MAN CITY
Brighton were all over Liverpool in the first half last weekend and were unlucky not to come away with at least a point.
Their performance particularly in the first half will give them confidence heading into this game and especially with Man City not being at their best at the moment.
City looked very open against Sporting Lisbon in midweek, which was their third consecutive defeat in all competitions.
They have looked vulnerable defensively in most of their games this season and Brighton will very much be looking to exploit that weakness.
The Seagulls have won their last two home games against big six clubs in Man United and Spurs, and with their high intensity style of play, I think they could win this one.
PREDICTION: 3-2
LIVERPOOL V ASTON VILLA
Liverpool were excellent against Bayer Leverkusen in midweek and especially in the second half, where they went up another level.
Aston Villa have been off it recently and were not at their best against Club Brugge in midweek. What Tyrone Mings was doing to give away the penalty I honestly don't know.
Villa have only won once after playing in the Champions League in midweek, and with Liverpool being in such good form, I think they'll come away with the win here. Especially as they're at home.
PREDICTION: 3-1
SUNDAY:
MAN UNITED V LEICESTER
Man United blew Leicester away in the Carabao Cup a week ago in Ruud Van Nistelrooy's first game as interim manager.
This game will be his last before he hands the reigns over to Ruben Amorim, and he'll want to go out with a good performance.
The players have said that they would like him to stay and understandably so. But whether he's staying remains unclear.
Leicester fielded a weakened team when the two sides met in the Carabao Cup, but they'll definitely field a strong one in this one though with it being a league game.
The Foxes will feel pretty satisfied with the season they're having as they currently sit in 15th and five points above the relegation zone. They would've taken that at the start of the season.
United played with a freedom when the two sides met in the Carabao Cup and I think they'll do the same again here. Even though they're not a team that score many goals.
PREDICTION: 3-1
NOTTINGHAM FOREST V NEWCASTLE
Nottingham Forest fans must be dreaming of European football when they look at the league table and the form they're currently in.
Chris Wood is still on fire and he will face Newcastle for the first time since he left them last year. He didn't have a particularly great time on Tyneside as he didn't suit their style of play.
Last week was a good one for Newcastle as they beat Chelsea in the Carabao Cup followed by beating Arsenal in the league.
Alexander Isak scored in both games and and his return has been a big boost for the Magpies as they missed having a goal scorer whilst he was out injured. They've also got Callum Wilson to come back also.
Both teams will be feeling confident heading into this game in terms of Forest's form and Newcastle's win over Arsenal.
Both teams will score, but I don't see either side winning it as I think they'll both cancel each other out.
PREDICTION: 1-1
TOTTENHAM V IPSWICH
Spurs can be brilliant to watch on their day and they showed against Villa last weekend, particularly in the second half.
Eyebrows were raised when Postecoglou brought off Son, who was playing well at the time. But the decision payed off as Spurs went on to win comfortably.
Spurs now need to find that consistency, which has been their main problem this season.
Ipswich are unlucky not to earn their first win last weekend against Leicester as they should've been given a penalty for Abdul Fatawu's shove on Conor Chaplin.
Their confidence will low because of their lack of results and I don't see that changing here.
I think Spurs will teach them a harsh lesson here.
PREDICTION: 4-0
CHELSEA V ARSENAL
Chelsea's chances in this game will depend on whether Cole Palmer is fit or not. He went off with an injury against Man United last weekend and hasn't trained all week. I'm not sure he'll feature.
Arsenal's Declan Rice is also a doubt for this game, but I read an article on the BBC Sport website saying that he's going to play.
The Gunners were unlucky against Inter Milan in midweek as the penalty decisions that went against them were both wrong. Merino was clearly punched by Yann Sommer for the first and the second one was a soft handball.
Martin Odegaard made his return in that game after two months out and his return is a massive boost for the Gunners because of how big a miss he's been for them. It will take him time to get up to speed after being out for a long time, but once he's up to speed, he'll show what Arsenal have been missing during his absence.
Arsenal haven't been clinical in front of goal recently and are suffering a dip in form. But with Cole Palmer being absent for Chelsea, I think they'll return to winning ways here as they'll have most of their key players available for this one, including Bukayo Saka who I think will get the all important goal.
PREDICTION: 0-1
