GK: JORDAN PICKFORD (EVERTON) - Pickford kept more clean sheets than any other keeper in October with 2, as Everton went back to basics in being difficult to beat. He made important and crucial saves when his team needed him to, including his penalty save against Newcastle when he denied Anthony Gordon.
RB: JAMES JUSTIN (LEICESTER) - Justin looked reasonably solid in October as Leicester got some points on the board. Defensively he was very sound whilst going forward he offered a threat. He assisted Facundo Buonanotte's goal in their win against Bournemouth, their first one of the season.
CB: NIKOLA MILENKOVIC (NOTTINGHAM FOREST) - Forest have been much improved defensively this season and Milenkovic has been the main reason why. He's brought quality and extra solidity to the defence since he's been there, both of those were on show during October as Forest kept up their strong start to the season.
CB: MICHAEL KEANE (EVERTON) - Everton found some form during October and Keane's performances in defence were a key part of it. His solid performances at the back helped Everton keep two clean sheets and climb out of the relegation zone. He also scored a strikers finish in their win at Ipswich.
LB: JOSKO GVARDIOL (MAN CITY) - Gvardiol put in a good shift at both ends during October by being sound defensively and always offering a threat going forward. He also scored one of the goals of the season so far in their win at Wolves.
RW: BRYAN MBEUMO (BRENTFORD) - Mbeumo has stepped up as Brentford's main man since Ivan Toney left in the summer just like I knew he would. He's got 8 goals to his name this season and 3 of them were in October, scored in their wins over Wolves and Ipswich.
CM: VITALY JANELT (BRENTFORD) - Janelt is that Brentford player who never gets spoken about as he quietly gets on with his job without anyone noticing. He showed both signs of himself in October in providing 2 assists from an attacking sense, and breaking up play from a defensive point of view.
CM: FACUNDO BUONANOTTE (LEICESTER) - Buonanotte is beginning to look like a good signing for Leicester and he showed why during October, as he scored twice to help the Foxes get their first points of the season. His goal against Bournemouth earned his side their first win, and his goal against Southampton started the fightback after being 2-0 down.
LW: MIKKEL DAMSGAARD (BRENTFORD) - Damsgaard has struggled ever since he signed for Brentford three summers ago, but things might be starting to improve for him. He registered more assists than any other player in October with 3 and all of them came in the games that the Bees won against Wolves and Ipswich. He's beginning to show why Brentford signed him two years ago.
ST: CHRIS WOOD (NOTTINGHAM FOREST) - Wood was the Premier League's most in-form striker during October as he scored 4 goals to help Forest keep up their strong start. He's been one of Forest's main men since Nuno Espirito Santo took over and his goals since then have been a reflection of that.
ST: DANNY WELBECK (BRIGHTON) - Welbeck has been a player reborn at Brighton this season and he's only 33. He scored in every game during October and Brighton went the entire month unbeaten and if they can keep him fit and free of injury, he could get 10 or more goals this season.
