GK: GUGLIELMO VICARIO (TOTTENHAM) - Vicario has been a great signing for Spurs since arriving in the summer and he showed why during October. He kept 2 clean sheets and came up with some big important saves when his team needed him to as Spurs kept up their strong start.
RB: KIERON TRIPPIER (NEWCASTLE) - Trippier was effective in both departments during October as Newcastle kept up their good form. Defensively he was solid whilst offensively he was effective as he registered 2 assists to help the Magpies to close the gap on the top four.
CB: CRISTIAN ROMERO (TOTTENHAM) - Spurs have been a much improved team defensively this season and Romero's return to form has been a key part of that. His solid performances during October helped Spurs keep 2 clean sheets and stay at the top of the league.
CB: MICKY VAN DE VEN (TOTTENHAM) - Van De Ven has made such a difference to Spurs defensively this season and has arguably been one of the signings of the season. He's formed a solid partnership at the back with Romero and his performances back there played a key role in Spurs keeping 2 clean sheets and staying at the top of the league.
LB: BEN WHITE (ARSENAL) - I couldn't think of any left backs who stood out during October so I decided to put White in as he can play in this position. He put in effective performances at both ends during October by being defensively solid and helping his team out going forward when they needed him to. His performance at both ends were crucial in Arsenal keeping up the pressure at the top.
RW: MOHAMED SALAH (LIVERPOOL) - Salah scored more goals than any other player during October with 5 as Liverpool kept up their strong start to the season. He netted doubles against Brighton and Everton and he is again showing how important he is to this Liverpool team.
CM: DECLAN RICE (ARSENAL) - Rice registered a goal and an assist each in October and both were crucial to Arsenal keeping up their unbeaten start. He also put in some effective performances in midfield by winning the ball back on countless occasions and working his socks off in the middle of the park. He's proving himself to be worth every penny of what the Gunners paid for him.
CM: DOUGLAS LUIZ (ASTON VILLA) - Luiz was in my Team of the Month for September and has carried his form from that September into October. He registered 2 goals and an assist as Villa closed the gap on the top four and has arguably been one of the players of the season so far.
LW: PEDRO NETO (WOLVES) - Neto has more assists than any other player this season and 3 of them came in October. He's been Wolves' best player so far this season with the contributions he's made and it's a shame that his month ended with him picking up an injury which s set to rule him out for months.
ST: ERLING HAALAND (MAN CITY) - Some people have been saying that Haaland hasn't been having a great season. But I find that absolute nonsense as he's been selected for the third consecutive team of the month. He scored 3 times during October to extend his goal tally to 11 which has him top of the charts.
ST: CALLUM WILSON (NEWCASTLE) - Wilson scored 3 times during October as Newcastle kept themselves in touching distance of the top four. He stepped up in the absence of Alexander Isak and has put himself in contention to win back his place in the England squad after being dropped from the last squad.
