October Team of the Month

GK: EDOUARD MENDY (CHELSEA) - Mendy has kept a clean sheet in every game he's played for Chelsea so far this season which shows what a great start he's made. He's also made big saves in games and that along with the 3 clean sheets have made Chelsea more secure at the back.

RB: KYLE WALKER (MAN CITY) - Walker has made a great start to the season and was excellent throughout October. He's defensively solid throughout and has been a threat going forward when he needs to be. His good performances have earned him a recall to the England team and rightly so.

CB: THIAGO SILVA (CHELSEA) - Chelsea kept three clean sheets in October and Silva was a huge part of that. He's been a proper defender by being a leader at the back and being defensively solid which has made Chelsea a more solid outfit defensively. He's showing no signs of slowing down at 36 years old.

CB: CONOR COADY (WOLVES) - Coady has been solid at the back for Wolves throughout October as they kept three clean sheets. He's been the leader and defender he always has been since Wolves got promoted and he's even in the England squad at last.

LB: AARON CRESSWELL (WEST HAM) - Cresswell recorded 3 assists in October and he's been playing on the left of a three man defence bearing in mind he's mainly a left back. He's also been solid defensively which has helped the Hammers get some positive results throughout the month.

RM: MOHAMED SALAH (LIVERPOOL) - Salah scored 4 times in October and two of those were in the 7-2 drubbing at Aston Villa. He's continued to be an important player for the reds by scoring goals and is currently their top goal scorer.

CM: JOHN MCGINN (ASTON VILLA) - McGinn has been key to Villa's strong start to the season and registered 1 goal and 2 assists in October. He was missed a lot at the end of last season and has already shown how important he is to Villa by creating chances and being a positive influence on the pitch.

CM: ROSS BARKLEY (ASTON VILLA) - Barkley has been one of the signings of the season so far his arrival from Chelsea on loan. He's netted twice since he arrived and is easing the burden off of Jack Grealish by being another player on the same level as the Villa skipper.

LM: SON HEUNG MIN (TOTTENHAM) - What a month it's been for the South Korean. He recorded 4 goals and three assists as Spurs scored 10 goals throughout the whole of October. His link up play with Harry Kane has been a huge part in the way Spurs play.

ST: HARRY KANE (TOTTENHAM) - Kane has arguably been the best player in October after registering 4 goals and 3 assists like fellow teammate Son. He's been an all round attacker by creating chances as well as scoring goals and his link up play with Son makes Spurs a deadly side going forward.

ST: TIMO WERNER (CHELSEA) - It's taken him time to settle into the Premier League and now Werner has got off the mark. He netted 3 goals in October to open his Chelsea tally and has been a threat for defences whenever he steps onto the pitch. He'll be hoping to bag more goals between now and the end of the season.
