My Team of the Season

GK: EMILIANO MARTINEZ (ASTON VILLA) - Martinez was solid all season round for Villa as he made countless crucial saves and was a solid presence between the sticks. Raya might've won the golden glove, but over the course of the season, I think Martinez was the better keeper.

RB: BEN WHITE (ARSENAL) - White was excellent in both departments for the Gunners this season in being very solid defensively and always offering a threat going forward. His work at both ends was crucial during Arsenal's title challenge and if he can fix his relationship with England, he'll surely be back in the squad soon.

CB: VIRGIL VAN DIJK (LIVERPOOL) - Van Dijk was back to his brilliant best this season by being his calm and composed self in the Liverpool backline. He's had a massive influence on the players around him and the reds were always a solid outfit defensively when he was in the team.

CB: WILLIAM SALIBA (ARSENAL) - Arsenal had the best defence in the league this season and Saliba was one of the main reasons why. He was solid at the back all season as the Gunners pushed City very close and he's quite possibly the best centre back Arsenal have had since Sol Campbell.

LB: DESTINY UDOGIE (TOTTENHAM) - Udogie was excellent all season round for Spurs by being solid defensively and offering a threat going forward when he needed to. Not many left-back's stood out this season but if there was one did, it was Udogie.

RW: COLE PALMER (CHELSEA) - Palmer carried Chelsea pretty much all season as he registered 22 goals and 11 assists at the age of just 22. Without him the blues would be in a much worse position because of the contributions he made.

CM: RODRI (MAN CITY) - Man City never lost a game when Rodri was in the team which shows how important he was for them. His ability to control games from midfield and protect the defence were both key to City's fourth consecutive title win and he also popped up with some crucial goals at big moments. Including his winning goal against West Ham on the final day which secured the title.

CM: DECLAN RICE (ARSENAL) - Rice is the main reason why Arsenal were a much better team this season than they were last season. He's given the Gunners a much stronger mentality thanks to his leadership and he's also brought some tenacity and energy to the midfield. He's even proved himself to be more than a defensive midfield player as he's popped up with some crucial goals, all of which were key in Arsenal's title challenge.

LW: PHIL FODEN (MAN CITY) - Foden has taken his game onto another level this season by scoring 19 league goals as City won a fourth straight title. He stepped up as City's main man at times throughout the season and especially when Kevin De Bruyne wasn't around. He's been the player of the season in my opinion.

ST: ERLING HAALAND (MAN CITY) - He might not have had the campaign he had last season, but Haaland still won the golden boot with 25 goals which marks another prolific campaign. He's carried on being the goal scoring machine he always has been and his goals were crucial to City winning yet another title.

ST: OLLIE WATKINS (ASTON VILLA) - Watkins was an all round centre forward this season as he scored 19 goals and registered the most assists with 13. His contributions were key to Villa finishing in the top four and under Emery, his game has gone onto another level.
