GK: NICK POPE (NEWCASTLE) - Pope for me has been the best keeper this season as he's made many top class saves to keep his side in games and has been a solid presence between the sticks. His 14 clean sheets were crucial to Newcastle having the joint best defence in the league this season and although he missed out on the golden glove, he's still been the most consistent keeper in the league this season.
RB: KIERAN TRIPPIER (NEWCASTLE) - Trippier has without a doubt been the best right back because he's been excellent in both departments. Defensively he's been excellent and his top level experience has been crucial to Newcastle having one of the best defences in the league. Going forward he's been equally as good as he registered 7 assists and was a threat whenever he was in the opposition half from both open lay and set pieces. He's made such a difference for Newcastle in both areas.
CB: WILLIAM SALIBA (ARSENAL) - Arsenal's title challenge stumbled when Saliba got injured as they didn't look as defensively solid. He was a solid presence in that Arsenal backline when he was available as they had a much stronger backbone and a mental toughness about them. His presence in the backline made a such a massive difference to the Gunners defensively this season.
CB: SVEN BOTMAN (NEWCASTLE) - Newcastle had the joint best defence in the league this season and Botman was one of the reasons why. He's made crucial challenges when his team have needed him to and his presence in the backline alongside his partnership with Schar has made a massive difference for the Magpies defensively. He's been a magnificent signing for them.
LB: NATHAN AKE (MAN CITY) - There haven't been many outstanding left backs this season but if I had to pick someone who has delivered consistently in that position it would definitely be Ake. The Dutchman has been excellent wherever he's been asked to play this season and especially at left back where he's been a real asset both defensively and offensively. He really stepped up in that position following the departure of Joao Cancelo.
RW: BUKAYO SAKA (ARSENAL) - Saka has taken his game onto another level this season and he's only just 21. His 14 goals and 11 assists were crucial to Arsenal pushing City for the title this season and his form throughout the season has made him a guaranteed starter for England.
CM: KEVIN DE BRUYNE (MAN CITY) - He might not have been at his best after the World Cup but De Bruyne still had another outstanding season. He registered more assists than any other player with 16 and again showed why he's one of the best midfielders around. He's can pick out any kind of pass from anywhere on the pitch and his link up play with Erling Haaland was one of the reasons why City won the title.
CM: MARTIN ODEGAARD (ARSENAL) - Odegaard stepped up as a real leader for Arsenal this season and his performances can back that up. He ran the show from midfield many times with his creativity and ability to control games and he also offered a goal threat. He scored 15 times this season which was more than any midfielder.
LW: MARCUS RASHFORD (MAN UNITED) - Rashford was a player who looked low on confidence for the majority of last season but this season he's been a player reborn. He scored 17 times this season as United finished in the top four and was their most consistent goal threat throughout the season. His decision making in the final third has improved immensely this season.
ST: ERLING HAALAND (MAN CITY) - No chance I was leaving this guy out. Haaland has been by far the best player and signing this season simply because of the amount of goals he scored. He netted a record breaking 36 goals in his debut season in England and has broken many other records along the way. He's taken City onto a completely new level.
ST: HARRY KANE (TOTTENHAM) - Where would Spurs be without this man. Kane scored 30 goals for an out of sorts Spurs side this season and had Erling Haaland not being around, he would've had his hands on another golden boot. He carried Spurs all season and is surely looking for a move away with the club in a complete mess and his contract up next summer.
