Midweek Premier League Predictions

TUESDAY:

TOTTENHAM V MAN CITY

Spurs find themselves in a difficult situation coming into this one as they know that a win will move Arsenal closer towards the title.

Three of Spurs' last four games have been against big teams and they were second best for the majority of all of them.. I think this one could be the same.

Man City have struggled away to Spurs in recent seasons but they did win this fixture in the FA Cup back in January.

They're also on such a good run of form which I don't see ending because of the relentless machine they are. They're always in this kind of form at this stage of the season and I can only see it continuing here.

PREDICTION: 1-3

WEDNESDAY:

BRIGHTON V CHELSEA

Brighton have fared better at home than they have away this season and they won this fixture 4-1 last season in what was Roberto De Zerbi's first win as Brighton boss.

The Seagulls have had a tough season this year but they are on course for a top 10 finish which would still mark another good season.

Chelsea are ending the season strongly and are currently in pole position to finish in the European spots. They've looked more like a team in recent weeks than they have done for most of the season and if they do finish in the European spots, Mauricio Pochettino should be allowed to stay on next season.

The Blues have however struggled on the road this season and although Brighton aren't in the best of form, I still think they'll come away with the points here.

PREDICTION: 3-1

MAN UNITED V NEWCASTLE

Man United weren't as bad as I thought they would be against Arsenal on Sunday, but it was another defeat and flat performance from them on the day.

Their season has been so bad that the club decided to cancel their end of season awards dinner which is something I'm both surprised and not surprised with. They've had nothing to cheer about all season and barely any of their players have covered themselves in glory this season.

Newcastle have already beaten United twice this season including their 3-0 win in this fixture in the Carabao Cup back in October. They'll more than fancy themselves to repeat that her with the form they're in and the state Man United are currently in.

The Magpies haven't been great away from home this season, but I still fancy them to win this one as they're in better form and are a more convincing team to watch.

PREDICTION: 0-3
