Manchester Derby: Combined XI's

CURRENT COMBINED 11:

GK: EDERSON - I had to put Ederson in because he's changed the role of a goalkeeper since he's been in England and has been a better keeper than De Gea in the last two seasons. He's been a huge part of City's success under Guardiola because of his distribution and top class saves.

RB: KYLE WALKER - I've put Walker in ahead of Wan Bissaka because he's good at both ends of the pitch. Going forward he's always bombing down the wing getting crosses into the box and defensively he has improved a lot by being well positioned at the right time. He's been back to the Kyle Walker of old this season by being defensively solid.

CB: RUBEN DIAS - Dias has been reasonably solid since he's been at City and has rarely let them down. I've put him in ahead of Harry Maguire because he's a better leader and has been the better defender of the two this season.

CB: AYMERIC LAPORTE - There was no doubt that I was going to put in Laporte. He makes City better defensively by being good on the ball and solid at the back which was what they missed last season when he was out injured. He makes a huge difference to City defensively.

LB: BENJAMIN MENDY - Left back was a tough one because of the lack of form from both players in this position. But in the end I went with Mendy because he's better going forward than Shaw. The Frenchman always looks dangerous when he enters the opposition half and gets the balls in the box whenever he enters the final third. If it wasn't for injuries, Mendy might've been a better player at both ends of the pitch.

CDM: FERNANDINHO - He's getting on, but is still effective on the pitch. Fernandinho dictates play in the midfield by breaking up play and always looking to play a pass to the forward players. He makes City's midfield look more solid because of the kind of player he is.

CM: KEVIN DE BRUYNE - This guy just had to be in. KDB is arguably the best midfielder in the world because of the amount of chances he creates in a game due to his passing range and can also shoot from anywhere on the pitch. He's the best player in the Premier League without a shadow of a doubt.

CM: BRUNO FERNANDES - I've put Fernandes in because of the impact he's made since he's been at United. He both creates and scores goals plus he makes other players around him better because of the chances he creates. When he plays well, United play well.

RW: RAHEEM STERLING - Sterling is the best right sided player from both clubs which is why he's in on the right wing. He's grown into one of the deadliest finishers in Europe because of how much he's improved his shooting and has become one of the best attacking players in Europe because of that.

LW: MARCUS RASHFORD - I've put Rashford in on the left because of the player he's grown into. He's grown into a deadly finisher over the last few seasons and that along with his pace makes him one of the best attacking players in the league and possibly Europe. He's grown as a player both on and off the pitch.

ST: SERGIO AGUERO - I had to have this guy as the striker. Aguero has been scoring goals ever since he's been in England and the amount he's got has made him one of the strikers in the world. His goals have made him a vital player for City since he's been at the club.

ALL TIME COMBINED 11:

GK: PETER SCHMEICHEL - I've put Schmeichel in because he is in my opinion the best goalkeeper in Premier League history. He made loads of top class saves during his time at United and his presence in the sticks made United really solid defensively which was a huge part of their success under Alex Ferguson.

RB: GARY NEVILLE - Neville is the best right back in Premier League history which is why he's in this combined 11. He was rarely beaten in a one on one situation and was defensively very solid which is what made him the best in his position. He was also a good leader in the United team both on and off the pitch.

CB: VINCENT KOMPANY - I've put Kompany in because of the player and leader he was at City. He made City a better team defensively when he was on the pitch because of his leadership and defensive abilities plus he was a huge part of their success during his time at the club.

CB: RIO FERDINAND - Ferdinand is in alongside Kompany because he was arguably the best defender on the ball on his day. He was also a leader and solid defender which made him one of the best defenders in the league during his time at Man United.

LB: PATRICE EVRA - Evra is without a doubt the best left back from both clubs to have played in the Premier League. He was solid defensively by being well positioned in one on one situations which made him one of the best left backs in the Premier League. He was a crucial part of United's success under Ferguson.

RM: CRISTIANO RONALDO - There was no way that I would leave Ronaldo out of this team. He became a world class player at United by scoring lots of goals and scoring all kinds of goals which has been a huge part of his game ever since. The player he was in his final few seasons at United earned him a then record breaking move to Real Madrid where he became a legend.

CM: PAUL SCHOLES - Scholes was a real top player on his day because of the way he passed the ball and the creativity he gave the United team. This gave him a lot of praise from some of the world's top players and is made him one of the best players in the league at the time.

CM: DAVID SILVA - I would never leave this guy out. Silva was a magician in the middle of the park because of the chances he created and the way he beat players with his skill and pace. He took City onto another level when he arrived because of the player he was the player he has been throughout his career.

LM: RYAN GIGGS - I had to put Giggs in because of the career he had. He scored lots of goals and even as he got older into his late 30s, he was still an effective player on the pitch because he looked after himself well and was determined to win things and have a great career in the game.

ST: SERGIO AGUERO - Aguero took City onto the next level from top four chasers to title contenders when he arrived from Atleitco Madrid. His goals have been vital to City's success and is currently their all time leading goal scorer. I was never leaving him out of this team.

ST: WAYNE ROONEY - Rooney had to be in because of the amount of goals he scored. He scored any kind of goal throughout his career and was potentially one of the best striker in Europe on his day. He was a complete centre forward during his time at United.
