CURRENT COMBINED 11:
GK: DAVID DE GEA - Both keepers in my opinion aren't as good as they were a few years ago but still have the ability to make big saves. I went with De Gea because at his best he can make any kind kind of save to keep United in games. He has made the odd mistake over the last two seasons, but De Gea gets the nod simply because he can keep his side in games even when he has a dodgy defence in front of him.
RB: MATT DOHERTY - Doherty gets the nod ahead of Wan Bissaka because he's excellent at both attacking and defending whereas Wan Bissaka is great at defending, but needs to improve going forward. The Irishman has been one of the best right full/wing backs over the last two seasons because of the work he does at both ends of the pitch and especially going forward.
CB: HARRY MAGUIRE - His price tag and captaincy may have been questioned by the fans, but Maguire is still one of the best defenders in the league. He's good in the air and can bring the ball into midfield and play a long pass up to the forward players. As both sides are not the best defensively, Maguire had to be in because he's one of the best defenders out of the two clubs.
CB: TOBY ALDERWEIRELD - Hasn't been as good as he has been in previous seasons, but Alderweireld still remains one of the best centre backs in the Premier League. He reads the game well and makes vital tackles when needed to. He's been a key player for Spurs ever since he joined the club back in 2015.
LB: LUKE SHAW - I'm putting Shaw in because we haven't enough of Reguilon in a Spurs shirt. Yes Shaw has had a few injuries which has halted his progression but he can still do a decent job when fit. He impressed in a spell in the middle of last season where he showed what he can offer to the team. He'll want a good season to force his way back into the England squad.
CDM: NEMANJA MATIC - Matic is the best defensive midfielder out of the two sides. His form after the restart last season showed that he has more to offer after many people thought his best days were finished. His role as a defensive midfielder helps the defenders out and also gives Pogba the freedom to do what he wants on a football pitch.
CDM: PAUL POGBA - Pogba is without a doubt a talented player because of what he can offer. He has an excellent passing range and when he has the freedom to do what he wants, he is a danger for any side because he can score goals and create chances as well in the final third. When he has the freedom to do what he wants with good players around him, he is some player.
RW: GARETH BALE - He's just rejoined Spurs and he's in my combined 11. Bale is a brilliant player to watch when he's at his best because he's quick, powerful and is a nightmare for any defender to play against. If he can stay fit and in form once he gets going, he'll be a key player once again for Spurs like he was in his first spell. Spurs will look dangerous with him alongside Son and Kane in their attack.
CAM: BRUNO FERNANDES - Fernandes turned United's season around last season by being creative and scoring goals. He has an excellent relationship with Pogba and his presence in the team gets the best out of Rashford and Martial when United are on the attack. When United play well, Fernandes plays well because of what he offers the team.
LW: HEUNG MIN SON - The South Korean has been a key player for Spurs for the last three or four seasons because of his pace and versatility. Spurs miss Son when he's not in the team because they don't have anyone who runs in behind like he does and he's their best attacking player alongside Harry Kane. Spurs are gutted that he'll be injured for the game on Sunday.
ST: HARRY KANE - To lead the attack I had to pick Kane. He can score any kind of goal and he can also create chances for his teammates which shows that he is not a selfish player. He's established himself as one of the best strikers in the league ever since he made his breakthrough and without him, Spurs don't have the cutting edge when it comes to taking chances.
ALL TIME COMBINED 11:
GK: PETER SCHMEICHEL - Schmeichel is arguably the greatest goalkeeper to play in the Premier League because of the top class saves he made which made him a top class keeper. His presence between the sticks was vital as United won many league titles and kept loads of clean sheets during his time at the club.
RB: GARY NEVILLE - The best right back of the Premier League era. Neville was a solid defender who rarely made a mistake and was also a leader on the pitch. If anyone was to do an all time Premier League 11, Neville would be at right back because of the player he was and the success he had during his time at United.
CB: RIO FERDINAND - Ferdinand has been one of the best centre backs of the Premier League era. He read the game well and was good on the ball which is what made him one of the best defenders in the league. He was also a leader both on and off the pitch which is what Man United have lacked ever since he left in 2014.
CB: NEMANJA VIDIC - I had to put Vidic in the team alongside Rio because Spurs haven't had as good defenders as the United pair during the Premier League era. Vidic was a tough defender to play against during his time at United and was a leader on the pitch which is what made Man United so successful in the late 2000s. HIs partnership with Ferdinand is arguably the best in Premier League history.
LB: PATRICE EVRA - If I had to pick a left back from either United or Spurs, it would be Evra because he was solid defensively and was a huge part of United's success under Alex Ferguson in the last 2000s early 10s. His presence in the team alongside Ferdinand and Vidic made United a strong team defensively and it helped them win five league title between 2006 and 2014.
RM: CRISTIANO RONALDO - Whenever I do an all time 11 including Man United players, Ronaldo has to be in there because of the player he was at Old Trafford. Ronaldo grew into the best player in the world during his time at United due to the amount of goals he scored which helped United win three straight league titles from 2007 to 2009. I just couldn't leave him out of my combined 11.
CM: PAUL SCHOLES - Scholes is arguably one of the most underrated players in Premier League history. The reason for this is because United had many other superstars in their team who received a lot more praise than Scholes got. When at his best Scholes was a genius on the pitch. He created lots of chances and scored lots of goals as well which is what made him the player United fans know him as. His presence in the team was vital to United being a success under Ferguson.
CM: CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN - The Danish maestro was a key player for Spurs during his time there from 2013 to 2020. He created lots of chances and could score any kind of goal whether than was a free kick or a wonder strike from outside the penalty area. He was an integral part of that Spurs team under Mauricio Pochettino and because of the creativity he offered, he's in the team.
LM: RYAN GIGGS - I just had to include him, Giggsy is one of the most successful footballers of all time and when he was on the pitch he had lots of pace and scored some vital goals for United. Even as he edged into his mid thirties, he still had the desire to score a goal and work hard for the team. There was no way I was leaving him out.
ST: WAYNE ROONEY - At his best Rooney was arguably one of the best strikers in the world. He scored any kind of goal during his time at United and is their all time leading goal scorer. He is without a doubt a Man United legend because of what he won and the amount of goals he scored during his time at the club. No way I was leaving him out.
ST: HARRY KANE - Kane has grown into one of the best strikers in the world ever since he made his breakthrough at Spurs. He's scored all kinds of goals during his time at Spurs and is third on their list of all time goal scorers. He's only six shy of 150 Premier League goals.
