Man United v Arsenal: Combined XI's

CURRENT COMBINED 11

GK: DAVID DE GEA - If I had to choose a keeper between the two clubs, it would definitely be De Gea because he's still one of the best keepers in the world and has been playing like that recently. Whenever United need him to make a big save, he's always there to keep them in the game.

RB: AARON WAN BISSAKA - He can improve going forward but defensively, Wan Bissaka is best one on one full back in the Premier League. He barely lets you down by making key tackles and interventions. That's why he's in ahead of Bellerin.

CB: GABRIEL - The Brazillian has made a solid start to life at the Emirates since his arrival in the summer. He's been solid defensively and has hardly put a foot wrong which is why he's in bearing in mind there are not many convincing defenders at both clubs.

CB: HARRY MAGUIRE - He's had a tricky start to the season, but on his day Maguire is still a top defender. He's good on the ball and in the air which is what makes a good centre back these days. With the lack of top defenders at both clubs, picking Maguire was a shoe in.

LB: KIERON TIERNEY - Tierney impressed for Arsenal at the back end of last season and has made a fairly solid start to this season. He's good both defensively and going forward which puts him in ahead of Luke Shaw because he can look erratic at times.

CDM: NEMANJA MATIC - The Serbian is a strong and solid defensive midfield. Makes vital tackles when needed to and can play a good pass to an attacking player when they're on the move. He's still showing that he's got more to offer.

CDM: PAUL POGBA - He's not always convinced in a United shirt, but on his day, Pogba can be a monster of a player. He's got an excellent passing range and when given the freedom to do what he wants, he can make a bursting run into the box to either assist a teammate or score a goal himself. This is what puts him in my team.

RW: WILLIAN - There are not many convincing players in this position so I put Willian in. This is because he creates and scores goals which is what he has done ever since he came to England. He's the best right winger out of the two clubs because of what he offers.

CAM: BRUNO FERNANDES - Fernandes is a complete midfielder because he creates and scores goals. His creativity makes United a better team going forward and when he plays well, United play well because of the player he is in scoring and creating goals.

LW: MARCUS RASHFORD - There was no doubt that I was going to put Rashford in this team. He's growing into a top player thanks to his pace and his agility which is what makes him the player he is today. The way he scores goals and beats players remind me of Cristiano Ronaldo when he was that age.

ST: PIERRE EMERICK AUBAMEYANG - No way I was leaving this guy out. Aubameyang is one of the best strikers in the world because of his pace and the amount of goals he scores. Arsenal are not the same team when he's not in the team.

ALL TIME COMBINED 11:

GK: KASPER SCHMEICHEL - I've put Schmeichel in because I think he's the best Premier League goalkeeper of all time. He made top save after top save time and time again which is what made him a key player for United in the 90s.

RB: GARY NEVILLE - No doubt Neville was going to be in. He's the best right back in Premier League because he was a solid defender and rarely made a mistake. He was also a leader both on and off the pitch as he helped United achieve so much success under Alex Ferguson.

CB: TONY ADAMS - This guy is in because he was a rock solid defender and a leader which is what Arsenal have lacked for years. Adams was at the heart of Arsenal's solid defence in early days of Arsene Wenger's reign which was what made him a top player.

CB: RIO FERDINAND - I've put Rio in because he's a solid defender and is arguably the best defender with the ball at his feet in Premier League history. He was always calm and composed on the ball plus he was a leader at the back which is what United haven't had since he left.

LB: ASHLEY COLE - He may have forced his way out of Arsenal, but when he was on the pitch Cole was the best left back in the Premier League. He was a key player for the Gunners in the first half of Arsene Wenger's reign as he helped Arsenal win two Premier League titles and three FA Cups.

RW: CRISTIANO RONALDO - There was no chance that I was going to leave out Ronaldo. He could beat any defender with his pace and could score any kind of goal during his days at United and he's carried on being that player throughout his career. He was impossible to stop at times.

CM: PAUL SCHOLES - There was no chance that I would leave out Scholesy. He was a genius on the ball and could create a chance anywhere on the pitch because of his vision. No wonder he's received a lot of praise from the likes of Xavi, Zinedine Zidane and Pep Guardiola.

CM: PATRICK VIEIRA - Arsenal have really missed this guy since he left the club back in 2004. He was a strong, solid and energetic midfielder who made lots of crunching tackles and occasionally liked to show off some skills as well. He was also a leader both on and off the pitch which was important in Arsenal's early days under Wenger.

LW: RYAN GIGGS - No way was I leaving Giggsy out. He could beat a player with his pace and he worked hard for the team which he kept doing right into his late 30s. He scored lots of vital goals for Man United during his long spell at Old Trafford.

ST: WAYNE ROONEY - I had to put Rooney in because he was a complete striker on his day. He scored any kind of goal and helped his team out by creating chances for his teammates. He has an incredible goal record against Arsenal and was a nuisance for them whenever he played against them.

ST: THIERRY HENRY - There was no way that I was not going to pick Henry. The Frenchman has won more golden boots than any other player and was a world class striker on his day. He scored any kind of goal and also created lots of chances for his teammates. He shares the assists record with Kevin De Bruyne which is 20 assists in one season.
