Chris Wood is the most in-form striker in the Premier League
Chris Wood has been in fine form since Nuno Espirito Santo took over at Forest last December, with only Erling Haaland and Cole Palmer scoring than the New Zealand international since Nuno took over at the City Ground.
He scored 11 under Nuno last season and has carried that form into this campaign as he's got 7 after 9 games. 4 of those goals have come in his last 3 games which for me, make him the most in-form striker in the Premier League.
He's one of Forest's main men since Nuno took over which the stats can very much back up. They're playing to his strengths playing getting balls into the box, which is the kind of service he likes and he's got players around him who are willing to give him that kind of service.
He's joint third with Cole Palmer in the goal scoring charts this season with 7 goals and his goals have been crucial to Forest's strong start to the season. If he can keep up the current form he's in, Forest could potentially challenge for Europe.
Could Wolves' comeback against Brighton give them the confidence to kick-start their season?
It's been a tough season for Wolves so far as they've had a tough run of games to start the season with. But things might be starting to improve for them following their draw at Brighton, where they came from 2-0 down to nick a 2-2 draw and an important point.
Could their comeback against Brighton give them the confidence to kick-start their season?
One thing that will help is that they have a favourable run of games coming up and these games will give them a great chance of getting some more points on the board. Most of their upcoming games are winnable and against sides who are in and around them, including Crystal Palace and Southampton, who they play in their next two games.
The way they responded against Brighton during the final minutes will definitely give them something to build on heading into their upcoming games, and Gary O'Neil will want his side to carry the momentum gained from it.
Could Spurs win kick-start Palace's season?
Crystal Palace finally got themselves off the mark on Sunday as they beat Spurs 1-0 to earn their long awaited first win of the season.
Their performance on the day was much improved as they played at a higher intensity and had more attempts on goal than Spurs did over the course of the game.
Could this result be the one that kick-starts their season?
I said that Palace looked low on confidence heading into the Spurs game because of their lack of results. Their were some encouraging signs from them in the games they've played, but they weren't able to turn them into positive results.
But now they've got that first win under their belt, they'll feel that they have some much needed confidence on board as winning games gives a team confidence, especially against a top side like Spurs.
Their upcoming fixtures are mixed in that they have games that are both tough and winnable. But after beating a quality side in Spurs, they'll feel that they can beat anyone because of the confidence they will have gained from it.
West Ham penalty the wrong decision
The officials were once again in the spotlight over the weekend and especially in the West Ham-Man United game, where West Ham were given a controversial penalty which they later went on to score to win the game.
The referee originally didn't give the penalty, but after looking at the pitch side monitor and seeing Matthijs De Ligt's knee make contact with Danny Ings' knee, he later gave the penalty.
I thought it wasn't a penalty as there wasn't enough contact from De Ligt to send Ings down. There was contact, but it was very minimal and the referee should've stuck with his original decision in not awarding the penalty.
