Bournemouth fully adjusted to Iraola's methods
I said at the start of the season that it would take time for Bournemouth to get used Andoni Iraola's style of play with it being a different brand of football to what they're used to. I was proven right as it took them 10 games to get their first win after a tough start.
After two convincing wins in their last two games against Newcastle and Sheffield United, it looks like they have fully adjusted to what Iraola wants them to do.
He was brought in to play a more progressive and expansive brand of football and his team are finally playing that kind of style. They're having more possession of the ball and are looking a more dangerous side when they go forward.
I had Bournemouth as one of my relegation favourites at the start of the season because I didn't think they would score enough goals. They're beginning to prove me wrong on that front as they look like a side that are more than capable of scoring goals. If they carry on playing the way they have been and continue scoring goals, they might have enough to stay up.
Will United's performance against Everton be a turning point in their season?
Man United arguably put in their best performance of the season against Everton on Sunday which was a game they won comfortably and convincingly. They started the game well and there was an energy about them that we haven't seen pretty much all season. But will this performance be a turning point in their season?
Everton may have been poor on the day but United still had to show up and put in a performance which they did. They'll be hoping that it gives them a lot of confidence to take into the games they have coming up.
But repeating their performance against Everton will be tough as they have some tough games throughout December. They have Newcastle, Chelsea and Liverpool in three of their next four league games alongside two massive Champions League ties against Galatasaray and Bayern Munich.
They will have confidence to take into those games but the teams they face will provide more of a test than Everton did on Sunday.
