Raheem Sterling has his confidence back

Raheem Sterling looked like a player short on confidence last season as he struggled to find the form he showed during his time at Man City. This season so far has been the complete opposite because he's looked like a player who has got his confidence back after a tough first season last year.

He was a constant threat throughout against Luton on Friday where he netted twice and set up the winning goal for Nicolas Jackson. He caused them all kinds of problems with his pace and trickery all game and was hands down the best player on the pitch because of the impact he made.

He also impressed in Chelsea's first two games against Liverpool and West Ham where he put in good performances in both games. He didn't scored or assist in either of them, but he still played well in both and showed signs that he's beginning to rediscover his best form.

HIs good start to the season will be good news for Gareth Southgate who names his England squad later this week ahead of the next international break. Sterling has been a key player for England under Southgate and looks set for a recall to the set-up with the start he's made to the season.

Is Sean Dyche under pressure?

No points, no goals scored and bottom of the league. This is Everton's worst ever start to a league season and it looks like they're well and truly set for another relegation fight. Sean Dyche might have done a decent job in keeping them up last season, but with the poor start his side have made this season: Is he under pressure?

It's not all his fault because the club is in a mess and he hasn't really been helped by the board in terms of bringing in a new striker. He needed to bring in a striker because goals were their main problem from last season and especially with Dominic Calvert Lewin being injury prone. He has signed players during the summer window but none of them are centre forwards who are out and out goal scorers.

He always had a striker who could score goals when he was at Burnley, whether that be Danny Ings and Andre Gray in their promotion season or Chris Wood, Ashley Barnes and Sam Vokes in the Premier League years. Having that out and out centre forward was key to the success he had at Burnley as they stayed in the Premier League for six seasons. He's suffering without one at Everton.

They've not been great at the back either as they've looked open and disorganised defensively. Dyche is a manager who sets his teams up to be tough to beat and well drilled defensively. His Toffees have been anything but that this season.

He might been seen as Everton's best chance of survival because of the experience he has in these sort of situations. But he needs to get results and quickly otherwise he will be under pressure.

Is Darwin Nunez finally delivering for Liverpool?

Darwin Nunez had a difficult first season at Liverpool last season after arriving for big money from Benfica. He netted just 9 league goals and missed a number of big chances over the course of last season. But he still got into good goal scoring positions despite missing all those chances.

He was the difference in Liverpool's win over Newcastle on Sunday with his double off the bench winning the game for the reds after being a goal down. So is he finally delivering for Liverpool?

His two goals against Newcastle will definitely give him a lot of confidence because every striker needs confidence in order for them to score goals. Nunez didn't necessarily lack confidence last season as he was always getting into the right positions. He just wasn't consistent enough when it came to goal scoring.

All he needs to do now is to be clinical in front of goal on a regular basis. If he can do that, he could finally live up to that £85 million Liverpool paid for him last summer.
