SATURDAY:
WOLVES V COVENTRY
Wolves have a number of players out injured heading into this cup tie including their three best attacking players in Neto, Hwang and Cunha.
Not having those three around will be a massive blow for Gary O'Neil's side who haven dealt with almost everything that has been thrown at them this season.
Coventry once again have the play offs in their sights this season with Mark Robins' side currently sitting 8th and just two points off the Championship play off places.
The Sky Blues have come a long way under Robins and it wasn't that long ago where they nearly went out of business. The rise they've been on under Robins has simply been incredible.
They'll want to give Wolves a tough game here as Wolves are missing some important players through injury, which gives them a chance.
But despite missing those key players, I still think Wolves will find a way to win.
PREDICTION: 1-0
MAN CITY V NEWCASTLE
Kevin De Bruyne was the difference maker when these two sides last met back in January with his impressive cameo off the bench helping City come from behind to win the game.
Man City will be without De Bruyne here due to a groin injury which will also rule him out of the international break. This will be a massive blow for City, but they do have players who can step up in his absence like Phil Foden or Bernardo Silva.
Newcastle beat City when the two sides met in the Carabao Cup back in September but getting another win in this cup tie will be tough. The Magpies still have a lot of injuries like they have done for most of the season and also City have been very strong at home.
City were without Rodri for that game as he was in the middle of a suspension and his absence played a part in the result. With him available for this one, City should definitely win here.
PREDICTION: 2-1
WEDNESDAY:
CHELSEA V LEICESTER
This game is a rematch of the 2021 final which Leicester won 1-0 thanks to a Youri Tielemans rocket and we could see a repeat of that here. Especially as Chelsea have been so inconsistent this season.
Chelsea have been a cup team this season in that they've done better in the cup competitions than they have done in the league. There will be pressure on them to win this competition because of where they are in the league and the size of club they are.
Leicester have been in patchy form of late in the Championship and it's lead to the teams below them catching up with them. But they should still be a Premier League club next season nevertheless.
They'll want to show Chelsea what kind of team they could be facing next season and I think they'll give them a tough game here.
But I think Chelsea will have enough quality in them to book their place in the next round.
PREDICTION: 2-1
MAN UNITED V LIVERPOOL
The FA Cup is Man United's last chance to end the season with a trophy and the only thing they realistically have left to play for. They're out of the other cup competitions and their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League are very slim.
United basically parked the bus the last time the two sides met and it worked as they showed more fight and came away with the draw.
Their chances of getting a result in this cup tie will depend on whether Rasmus Hojlund is fit to play. He's been a miss for them whilst he's been out injured and there is a chance that he might be back for this one. If he plays, United have a chance.
Liverpool were unlucky not to come away with the win against Man City last weekend as they should've had a penalty at the very end. I do understand why it wasn't given, but in my opinion I think it should've been given as a penalty.
The reds are chasing a potential quadruple this season and after winning one trophy in the Carabao Cup, they'll be determined to add more before the end of the season. Especially with Klopp leaving at the end of the season.
This game will hopefully be more open than the last one they had against each other before Christmas and I think it will be. But with Liverpool having more quality in the final third, I think they'll win this one convincingly.
PREDICTION: 0-2
