FA Cup Final 2023 Preview

PROBABLE STARTING LINE UPS FOR BOTH SIDES

Part 2 of Man City's quest for the treble. They should definitely complete the treble as they're more than capable of doing so with the quality they possess. If they do complete it, they'll arguably be better than the United side that did it in 1999 as they have more strength in depth.

I might've had City down to play a back four for this game about a month ago because I thought they would play that system in their Champions League semi final against Real Madrid. But because of how well Kyle Walker dealt with Vinicius Junior in both legs, I think they'll stick with the back three for this one. If Walker can stop Vinicius, then he'll be more than capable of stopping Marcus Rashford who has a decent record in Manchester Derbies.

Man United already have a trophy in the bag in the Carabao Cup and are back for another cup final in this one. If they were to complete the double alongside achieving a top four finish, it would mark a very good first season for Erik Ten Hag. It's already been a good season but another trophy would mark a very good season overall.

All United fans will be determined for their team to stop City winning the treble but the team itself will be more focused on winning another trophy. They might have that at the back of their minds but most importantly they'll be more focused on winning the game and securing another trophy rather stopping City winning the treble.

PREDICTION:

I'm backing Man City to win this final because they're the stronger side on paper and are more experienced in these sorts of games from recent seasons. It will be a close game as both sides will want to win it but I think City will have enough quality to win the game and the cup.

FS: 2-0
