Champions League Quarter Final Draw Verdict

The draw for the Champions League Quarter Finals was made earlier today and there some interesting ties to look forward to next month.

Both English clubs have tough ties with holders Man City facing Real Madrid and Arsenal taking on Bayern Munich. City facing Real Madrid is arguably the tie of the round because of the quality that both sides possess and both sides being among the favourites. Arsenal have been the victims of Bayern in the past and they'll no doubt be determined to get their revenge. The tie does look tough on paper for the Gunners, but they'll still fancy their chances as Bayern haven't been at all convincing this season.

The other tie of the round is without a doubt PSG taking on Barcelona because of the size of both clubs and the set of players they both have. PSG will probably be the favourites as they're having a more satisfactory season but as they have been known for bottling it in recent years, Barca may fancy their chances.

The other tie sees Atletico Madrid take on Borussia Dortmund which should also be another close game. Atletico will probably be the favourites as they arguably have more in quality but Dortmund will still give themselves a chance. Especially as they finished top of their group.

FULL QUARTER FINAL DRAW:

Arsenal v Bayern Munich

Atletico Madrid v Borussia Dortmund

PSG v Barcelona

Real Madrid v Man City
