PROBABLE STARTING LINE UPS FOR BOTH TEAMS
These two sides met in the final two seasons ago with Liverpool going on to win on penalties. They later went on to meet in the FA Cup final that very season.
Winning this competition could be Chelsea's best route into Europe as they're unlikely to finish in the European spots in the Premier League.
Mauricio Pochettino is desperate for his first trophy in English football and this final could determine his fate as Chelsea boss due to the pressure he's been under at times during the season.
Chelsea will be massive underdogs coming into a final for the first time in a while as they're miles away from the level that Liverpool are on. They've been used to going into cup finals as favourites over the years but now their mentality has changed and it's why they're no longer favourites coming into these sort of games.
Liverpool have a number of players out injured heading into this one including Alisson and Trent Alexander Arnold. But the reds should still be fine without them as Caoimhin Kelleher has stepped up in Alisson's place on a number of occasions whilst Conor Bradley has stepped up when Alexander-Arnold hasn't been around.
Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah are both doubts after picking up knocks in against Brentford last weekend. But there is a chance that they could be available after not being risked against Luton in midweek.
Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to end his Liverpool reign on a high and winning this cup final would be a good start to it. His impending departure is very much on the players minds and they'll want to give him the best send off possible.
PREDICTION
I think this game will be a lot closer than the league game at Anfield last month as it's a cup final where both teams will need to be on top of their game. Because of Liverpool having more experience in their squad and in these sort of games, I think they'll take home the trophy here.
