Ream has been a much improved player this season as Fulham were much improved defensively. He was the leader in their backline and put in solid performances week in week out as the Cottagers finished in the top10.

49. Ethan Pinnock - Brentford

Pinnock has been one of the most underpraised players this season and it's about time he got the credit he deserved. He made more clearances than any other player this season both aerially and physically and he also bagged some important goals as Brentford put themselves in contention for Europe. He's been a key player in the Bees backline all season.

47. David Raya - Brentford

Raya spent the majority of last season out injured and this season showed how important a player he is to his team. He made more saves than any other keeper this season as the Bees were again defensively solid and his strong performances have got some of the big clubs interested with his contract up next summer.

46. Kaoru Mitoma - Brighton

Mitoma has been one of the most exciting players to watch this season and has fully taken his chance ofter spending last season out on loan. His 7 goals and 5 assists were crucial to Brighton qualifying for Europe as he became one of the first names on Roberto De Zerbi's team sheet. Another good season next year and the big clubs will be after him.

45. Joelinton - Newcastle

Joelinton has been a revitalised player since Eddie Howe has been in charge of Newcastle and is now one of their most important players. He's better suited to playing as a midfielder and his energy in the middle of the park was crucial as the Magpies finished in the top four. He even popped up with some crucial goals.

44. Aleksandar Mitrovic - Fulham

There were a lot of questions about Mitrovic at the start of the season as to whether he could deliver in the Premier League. This season we went on to prove his doubters wrong as he ended the season with 14 goals as Fulham finished 10th. He's played in a team that suits his style of play and has better players around him unlike the last couple of spells he had in the Premier League.

43. Miguel Almiron - Newcastle

Another player who has been revitalised at Newcastle. Almiron scored more goals this season than he did in the last three seasons combined as he went from big money flop to one of the first names on Eddie Howe's team sheet. He's been full of confidence for most of the season and his contributions played a big role in the Magpies qualifying for the Champions League.

42. Moises Caceido - Brighton

Caceido has been the engine of Brighton's midfield this season with the amount of interventions he's made and how hard he's worked in the middle of the park. Only Declan Rice made more interceptions than the Ecuadorian powerhouse this season and the Seagulls may struggle to keep hold of him this summer with a number of clubs interested in him.

41. Luke Shaw - Man United

Shaw was a good all-round defender this season by being solid defensively and offering a threat going forward when he needed to. He also showed how versatile he can by stepping in at centre back at times where did as solid a job as he does when playing full back.

40. Joao Palhinha - Fulham

Fulham were much better defensively this season and this guy was one of the reasons why. Palhinha made more tackles than any other player this season as he sat in front of the back four and cleared up everything in front of him. His signing made a massive difference for the Cottagers this season and he was even named their Player of the Season.

39. Jack Grealish - Man City

Grealish added more end product to his game this season as he bettered his number from last season with 5 goals and 7 assists. He looked a more confident player when taking on players in 1v1 duels and is beginning to live up to that big price tag City paid him.

38. Christian Eriksen - Man United

Eriksen has shown that he can still play at the highest level at United this season nearly two years after his cardiac arrest at Euro 2020. United were much better side when he was available because of the creativity he brings to the team and his 8 assists were important to United finishing in the top four.

37. Ollie Watkins - Aston Villa

Watkins had his best ever season this year with 15 goals and 13 of them came after Unai Emery was appointed Villa boss. The departure of Danny Ings played a major part as it gave him the chance to become Villa's main man and he took it by scoring the goals he scored and all of them were crucial in Villa's rise up the table.

36. Leandro Trossard - Arsenal

Trossard's strong start to the season with Brighton earned him a big move to Arsenal where he carried on the good form he was in. He registered 7 goals and 3 assists during the first half of the season with Brighton before bettering his assists numbers with Arsenal who he gave another option in their attack.

35. Alisson - Liverpool

It might've been a poor season for the reds but without Alisson, it might've been even worse. The Brazilian kept the reds in games time and time again this season by making many big and crucial saves when his team needed him to. He was arguably Liverpool's most consistent player this season.

34. Bruno Guimaraes - Newcastle

Guimaraes has been an absolute game changer for Newcastle this season with his ability to dictate play in midfield. He makes a massive difference for the Magpies when he plays because of his ability to control games and is someone who can help take them to the next level.

He's had his fair share of criticism over the years but this season Xhaka really silenced his doubters. He played a key role for the Gunners this season as he impressed in his new free role which gave him the licence to get forward and assist the attacking players. From being many fans' first player out the door, Xhaka is now one of the first names on Mikel Arteta's team sheet.

32. Alexis Mac Allister - Brighton

Brighton's World Cup winning midfielder was used in a deeper position this season and he excelled in it straightaway. His game developed a lot this season as he's improved both the attacking and defensive side of his game. Defensively he's tracked back to help his team out they they've needed him whilst going forward he's added more goals to his game. He netted 10 goals as Brighton qualified for Europe and he'll no doubt be a massive loss for them next season having completed his move to Liverpool.

31. James Maddison - Leicester

Maddison carried Leicester for the entire season and without him they've would've gone down a lot earlier. He made such a difference for them when he was available as because of the creativity he provided and the goals he scored from midfield. His form earlier in the season earned him a long deserved recall to the England squad for the World Cup.

30. Bruno Fernandes - Man United

Fernandes is one of United's most reliable players as he's never injured and when he plays he always seem to make a difference. He was back to being the player United first signed this season by taking control of games more and the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo definitely played a part. He didn't make much of an impact when Ronaldo was around and since he left Fernandes has been back to his best.

29. David De Gea - Man United

De Gea kept more clean sheets than any other keeper this season 16 which earned him the golden glove and he also kept United in games on several occasions. Some of his performances have come under the spotlight this season but without him United may not have finished in the top four.

27. Gabriel - Arsenal

Gabriel has been solid at the back all season for Arsenal as they went very close to winning the Premier League. He looked very strong alongside William Saliba with whom he formed a very strong partnership and was a threat in both boxes in scoring vital goals at one end and making some vital clearances at the other.

26. Callum Wilson - Newcastle

Wilson put his injury troubles firmly behind him this season by scoring a season high 18 goals as Newcastle finished in the top four. His form this season earned him a recall to the England squad for the World Cup and his goals at the back end of the season were crucial to Newcastle securing Champions League football.

25. Mohamed Salah - Liverpool

He might not have had his best season by his own high standards, but Salah still managed to score 19 goals. He always steps up when his team need him to as he has done for many years and without him Liverpool's season might have been a lot worse.

24. Fabian Schar - Newcastle

Schar has been rock solid at the back all season as Newcastle had the joint best defence in the league. His strong partnership with Sven Botman played a massive role in the Magpies being so defensively solid and he has arguably been their unsung hero as he hasn't had the praise most of his teammates have received.

23. John Stones - Man City

Stones had to play in midfield towards the end of the season and he impressed in that position the moment he was placed there. His ability to play the ball helped him excel in that position because of how comfortable he is in possession and him excelling in his new role has changed the role of a defender.

22. Manuel Akanji - Man City

Akanji has been solid at the back all season for season yet he hasn't got the credit he's deserved. His performances at the back played a key role in City winning a third consecutive title as he was always in the right place at the right time to make crucial interventions.

21. Lisandro Martinez - Man United

There were questions about his height at the start of the season but Martinez went on to become a very good signing for United. He was physical in his challenges most of which he timed well and was comfortable in possession which is the kind of defender his manager likes. His partnership with Raphael Varane made United a much better team defensively.

20. Ruben Dias - Man City

City were a much better team defensively when Dias was around because of the leadership he brings to that defence. His leadership and presence in the backline were crucial to City ending the season so strongly and had he featured more regularly earlier in the season, he might've been higher up the list.

19. Dan Burn - Newcastle

Burn has had to play left back for the majority of this season and did an excellent job there throughout. He's been very solid defensively by being in the right place at the right time on numerous occasions and has been one of the main reasons why Newcastle have been so strong at the back.

18. Ivan Toney - Brentford

He may be banned for eight months for breaking betting rules, but you can't dismiss the season that Toney had. He scored 20 goals as Brentford finished 9th which firmly established him as a proven Premier League goal scorer. His form this season was rewarded with an England call up earlier in the season.

17. Ben White - Arsenal

White has had to play to play at right back this season and has done a superb job there all season. Defensively he's hardly let anyone past him and he's also made some crucial involvements going forward. He was effective at both ends and a key player for Arsenal during their title charge.

16. Rodri - Man City

Rodri has grown a lot as a player since he's been at City and this season he became one of their most important players. He gives the attacking players the freedom to push up by doing what he does as the deep lying midfielder.

15. Thomas Partey - Arsenal

Partey hasn't been able to keep himself fit for the last couple of seasons and this season he's shown how much of a difference he makes when he is fit. He's controlled play in the midfield all season as Arsenal put themselves in contention for the title and has been the kind of player the Gunners have been crying out for for years.

14. Aaron Ramsdale - Arsenal

Arsenal haven't had a top class keeper since the days of David Seaman and Ramsdale is beginning to put himself in that category. He kept 14 clean sheets and made a number of big saves throughout the season as Arsenal almost won the title. Another top season from him next season could see him dislodge Jordan Pickford as England's no.1.

13. Nathan Ake - Man City

Ake has been excellent wherever he's been asked to play and has been one of City's most important players over the course of the season. He stepped up at left back when João Cancelo left and his performances there played a huge role in City winning another title.

10. Kieran Trippier - Newcastle

Trippier has been a brilliant signing for Newcastle with his experience at the top level being a crucial part of their revolution. He's a much improved player defensively to the one that left for Atletico Madrid a few years ago whilst going forward he's been as effective as he usually is. His 7 assists were key in the Magpies qualifying for the Champions League.

9. Nick Pope - Newcastle

Pope has arguably been the main reason why Newcastle had the joint best defence in the league this season and he was unlucky not to win the golden glove. He kept 14 clean sheets and made many big saves to keep his side in games and the Magpies were so solid defensively because they had a keeper they could trust to keep the ball out of the net.

8. William Saliba - Arsenal

After three seasons out on loan, Saliba was finally given a chance at Arsenal this season and he took it instantly. He made a massive difference to the Gunners defensively this season as they had a much stronger backbone than they have done in recent seasons. Their title challenge faded when he was out injured which shows how important he was for them this season.

7. Casemiro - Man United

Casemiro has made such a difference for United this season and he's arguably been the difference. He dictated play in midfield alongside protecting the defence and has given United a much stronger mentality. United haven't had a player like this since Roy Keane.

6. Marcus Rashford - Man United

Rashford has been a player reborn this season as he looked more confident and fitter than he did in the whole of last season. He carried United's attack for most of the season by scoring 17 goals and his form this season put him back in the England squad for the World Cup.

5. Harry Kane - Tottenham

Where would Spurs be without this man? Kane carried his team for pretty much the entire season as he scored 30 goals and became Spurs' record goal scorer. With Spurs unlikely to win trophies anytime soon and his contract up next summer, he'll surely be looking for a move this summer.

4. Bukayo Saka - Arsenal

Saka has taken his game onto a completely new level this season with his 14 goals and 11 assists playing a key role in Arsenal's title challenge. He's taken huge responsibility at the age of just 21 and his form throughout the season made him a guaranteed starter for England.

3. Kevin De Bruyne - Man City

He might've had a dip in form after the World Cup but De Bruyne has still had an incredible season overall. He registered more assists than any other player with 16 and showed many times why he's one of the best players in the world with his ability to run games and vision.

2. Martin Odegaard - Arsenal

Odegaard has been the difference for Arsenal this season as they went on to challenge for the title. He ran games from midfield with his leadership and creativity plus he also offered a goal threat. He ended the campaign as Arsenal's joint top scorer with 15 goals and has taken them onto a new level.

1. Erling Haaland - Man City

This guy just had to be top of the list. Haaland's debut season in England has been completely out of this world when you look at the amount of goals he scored and rate he was coring them at. He won the golden boot with a record breaking 36 goals and has taken City onto another level.
