GK: JORDAN PICKFORD (EVERTON) - Pickford kept 4 clean sheets during April and made some crucial saves along the way as Everton secured their Premier League status for another season. He might've let six in at Chelsea but in the other games, he was a solid presence between the sticks.
RB: BEN WHITE (ARSENAL) - White was excellent in both departments during April as Arsenal strengthened their title credentials. Defensively he was as sound as he usually is whilst offensively he was always a threat as he registered 2 assists.
CB: JAMES TARKOWSKI (EVERTON) - Tarkowski was solid at the back right throughout April as Everton pulled clear of the relegation zone. His performances in defence and strong partnership with Branthwaite were key to the Toffees keeping 4 clean sheets during the month.
CB: JARRAD BRANTHWAITE (EVERTON) - Branthwaite has been outstanding all season for Everton and he kept up his fine form during April. He solid performances at the back were crucial to Everton keeping 4 clean sheets and securing their Premier League status for another season. His performance against Liverpool in particular was a notable highlight.
LB: JOSKO GVARDIOL (MAN CITY) - Gvardiol has spent most of his time at City playing at left despite his best position being centre back. But he has done a solid job when playing there this season and did so again during April. He was effective at both ends during April by being defensively solid and offering a threat going forward when he needed to. He scored twice and assisted once as City kept up their title charge.
RW: COLE PALMER (CHELSEA) - Palmer netted 7 times during April including a hat trick against Man United and a double brace against Everton. The latter took him level with Erling Haaland at the top of goal charts and with the form he's been in this season, he could potentially start for England at the Euros this summer.
CM: BRUNO FERNANDES (MAN UNITED) - April might've been a poor month for United but when Fernandes was needed to step up, he delivered. He scored 6 goals during April and without him, United would be in a much worse position.
CM: KEVIN DE BRUYNE (MAN CITY) - City have been on an incredible run of form since Christmas and one of the main reasons why is because of this man. De Bruyne registered 3 goals and assists during April as City kept up their title push and is once again showing why he's one of the best players in the world.
LW: PHIL FODEN (MAN CITY) - Foden kept up his fine season during April as he netted 5 times including a hat trick against Aston Villa. His goals were key in City keeping up their title challenge and with the form he's been in this season, he's arguably the favourite for the player of the season award.
ST: JEAN PHILIPPE MATETA (CRYSTAL PALACE) - Mateta has scored more goals under Oliver Glasner than he did under Patrick Vieira and Roy Hodgson combined. He found the net 5 times during April as Palace pulled themselves clear of the relegation zone and in him, the Eagles might've finally solved their goal scoring problem. A problem that has plagued them for years.
ST: ALEXANDER ISAK (NEWCASTLE) - Isak carried his form from March into April as he began to step up as a key player for Newcastle. He found the net 5 times during April and his goals were crucial in the Magpies moving up into the European places.
