How long does Kepa have as Chelsea's no.1?
With the signing of Eduoard Mendy not too far away and another mistake in Chelsea's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool, is Kepa Arrizabalaga's time as Chelsea's no.1 coming to an end? The Spaniard was criticized a lot last season which prompted Chelsea to search for a new keeper during the summer and the criticism that Kepa received has carried on into this season. Kepa made yet another mistake on Sunday as he passed the ball straight to Sadio Mane to gift the Liverpool man a second goal during Chelsea's 2-0 defeat to the champions on Sunday. With a new keeper on the way and Kepa's form clearly not improving, is it time for Frank Lampard to ditch the worlds most expensive keeper?
Have Fulham learned from their mistakes from two seasons ago?
They haven't spent over £100 million like they did last time but Fulham are once again fragile at the back. Their defence was a big problem for them in their last stint in the Premier League and appears so again after conceding 7 goals in 2 games. Three of the goals they conceded against Leeds were poorly defended and especially their fourth as Helder Costa was in a lot of space to score his second and Patrick Bamford was allowed time and space to cross the ball into the box for Costa to score. Their work rate could also be questioned as four of their players were jogging back from the opposition half instead of rushing back trying to help their team out.
Can Calvert Lewin push for a place in the England squad?
After an impressive start to the season with four goals in two games, Dominic Calvert Lewin finds himself joint top of the goal scoring charts. Everton's no.9 has improved his game a lot since Carlo Ancelotti took over at Goodison Park and after an impressive start, could he force his way into Gareth Southgate's plans? England have a lot of options at centre forward in Harry Kane, Danny Ings, Tammy Abraham and Mason Greenwood. If Calvert Lewin can keep up his impressive start to the season, Southgate might consider him for a call up?
How much will Thiago improve Liverpool?
Thiago impressed on his Liverpool debut during their 2-0 win at Chelsea by showing off his passing range and completing more passes than anyone on the pitch. Liverpool haven't had a creative player in the middle of the park since Xabi Alonso left in 2009 and Liverpool missed that kind of player against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last season. With his passing range, he could help the reds beat sides who defend with a low block.
How many more players do Man United need to challenge the top two?
United's impressive form at the end of last season got their fans dreaming that they could challenge for the title this season. But those hopes have for now been gashed after only one major signing in Donny Van De Beek and their 3-1 loss at home to Crystal Palace in their opening game. Going forward they didn't take their chances as the likes of Fernandes and Pogba struggled to make an impact and defensively were unorganised. They didn't know how to deal with Zaha as he went through their defence with ease and they overall looked shaky. If they're to challenge the top two, they need to be better at both ends of the pitch.
