Are Norwich already doomed?
Norwich look well and truly set for a tough season after losing all of their opening six games. They have had some tough fixtures to start the season with but from what I've seen from them since the start, I really can't see them staying up. Especially as they've lost all of their games so far.
Crystal Palace may have stayed up after losing their first 7 without scoring in 2017/18, but they had proven Premier League players in their squad which is something Norwich don't have enough of. This was the case for them two seasons ago as they were relegated and it could well be the case for them again this season.
Will Southampton be in a relegation battle?
Southampton are still winless in the Premier League this season despite a few decent performances from them since the start of the season. They had a great opportunity to get off the mark at the weekend in their game against Wolves. But they didn't take it as they missed a hatful of good chances which eventually came back to bite them as they lost the game 1-0. They've been reasonably solid defensively this season but going forward they've struggled to score goals with just 4 scored so far this season. If that return doesn't improve much in their next few games, the Saints could well be in a relegation battle.
They obviously Danny Ings in the summer to Aston Villa who has been a miss for them with their current strikers not being able to step up. The Saints relied a lot on Ings' goals for the last two seasons and with him gone they may find goals hard to come by this season. Che Adams and Adam Armstrong need to start delivering for the Saints will struggle this season.
Was Nuno the right man for Spurs?
Nuno Espirito Santo made a good start as Spurs manager by winning his first three games in charge which saw Spurs at the top of the league at the end of August. But three straight defeats since then have got many people questioning whether he was the right man to lead Spurs.
Spurs are used to their teams playing expansive attacking football which they're never going to get under Nuno as he's more of a defensive coach. His style of play has arguably been a reason for his sides' poor performances because he wants his team to sit back before hitting the opposition on the counter which they've been unable to do in recent games. They played that style last season under Mourinho which wasn't always effective plus it left the fans frustrated as they want to see a more expansive style. If that style of play continues to cost them and if the players don't adapt to it, the manager could well be under pressure.
