Gabriel Jesus relishing new responsibility at Arsenal
Gabriel Jesus has made an impressive start to life as an Arsenal player and he followed up a good debut performance against Crystal Palace with a double in the Gunners' 4-2 win over Leicester on Saturday. It was a good all round performance from the Brazilian and he's really relishing having this responsibility.
During his time at Man City he was often in the shadow of Sergio Aguero and used in the wider positions at times. But at Arsenal he's now a guaranteed starter which gives him more responsibility which is something he didn't have at City. He's clearly relishing it with the start he's made as it's given him more freedom knowing that he's going to be playing as a no.9 week in week out. With no one standing in his way and Jesus himself having a permanent position in the team, Jesus can now enjoy his football and relish this opportunity.
Man United need new owners
Man United's 4-0 defeat to Brentford didn't just show where the team is at. But where the club is in general. They've been in a mess for a number of years and it's about time that they get new owners in to bring back some positivity.
There are many issues at Man United and have been for some time. Poor recruitment, lack of leadership on and off the pitch, no structure and no clear plan are some of them. This is solely down to the Glazers because they're the people in charge of the club and the ones who make the decisions. They're the reason why United are in this mess and if United are to move forward and be successful like they used to be, they would be better off under new ownership.
New owners would sort out all things they need to fix and although it will take time for United to get to where they want to be, getting new owners in would be a good start to fixing the mess they're in.
Both of Spurs' goals shouldn't have stood
Spurs did deserve some credit for coming from behind twice and showing some character to get the result. But they were very fortunate to come away with the result because both of their goals shouldn't have been given.
Kai Havertz was clearly brought down by Rodrigo Bentancur in the build up to their first equaliser whilst Marc Cucurella had his hair pulled by Sergio Romero before the corner that lead to Spurs' second goal. Both incidents were not given as fouls when they should've been and they both cost Chelsea the game as they were the better side and were the team in front when they both took place.
