Jarrod Bowen a must for England
Jarrod Bowen continued his fine season with a double against Man City on Sunday which took his tally for the season up to 11. With the season he is having and the performance he put in against City on Sunday alongside the two goals he scored, he surely has to get an England call up for their games next month.
He could've been called up for the last International break in March but his chance of a call up was denied as he was injured at the time. Given the recent form he's been in alongside the season he's had overall, he's definitely closing in on a call up. He's had a better season than most of the England players in his position which is something Gareth Southgate will be aware of when he picks his squad later this month for their Nations League games next month. That could be what puts him in the England squad alongside the amazing season he's had overall.
Relegation battle going to last day
Burnley and Everton both lost whilst Leeds picked up a crucial point in their game against Brighton to move themselves out of the bottom three. With a point separating each of them as things stand, the relegation battle looks set to go to the last day of the season.
Everton can seal their safety with a win over Crystal Palace on Thursday as they're sitting two points above the drop zone going into their game in hand. But if they were to lose or draw in their game against Palace, the battle for survival would be very open indeed. Especially if Burnley get something from their game in hand against Aston Villa. The results they get in midweek could decide how the battle will be looking going into the final day of the season.
