Man United looking like title contenders with Ronaldo back
Man United showed why they should be talked about as title contenders in their 4-1 win over Newcastle on Saturday and the reason being was having Cristiano Ronaldo in their side. He may be 36 and his goals looked pretty straight forward, but having someone like him in your attack gives you every chance. His movement on Saturday was top class and showed what United needed in an out and out centre forward. With defence looking solid with the signing of Varane and the addition of Sancho to their exciting attack including Ronaldo, United are finally looking like title contenders.
Crystal Palace adapting well to Vieira's methods
A lot of people thought that it would take Crystal Palace time to get used to new boss Patrick Vieira's style of play after playing a more defensive style under Roy Hodgson for three or four seasons. But their performances in their last two games against West Ham and Spurs have showed us that they've settled into it quicker than we thought. They put in a promising performance in their draw with West Ham before the international break and they carried that performance into their win over Spurs on Saturday. They played on the front foot in both games which is what the manager wants and the players have taken that on board a lot quicker than most of us thought they would.
Are we set for the best title race we've ever seen?
Last seasons top four are looking very strong this season and all of them could be involved in the title race come the end. Champions Man City will obviously be up there due to their incredible squad, Chelsea are looking strong with the signing of Romelu Lukaku, Liverpool have got all their key players back fit and Man United are also looking strong with Ronaldo back at the club along with the signings of Sancho and Varane. We normally expect at least two or three teams fighting it out for the title but with those four teams looking very strong on paper and on the pitch, we could be in for the best title race yet.
