GK: EDERSON (MAN CITY) - Ederson kept a clean sheet in every game during September and he also made some vital saves along the way when his team needed him to. His presence at the back was vital to City getting through the month without conceding a goal and keeping up the pace at the top.
RB: TAKEHIRO TOMIYASU (ARSENAL) - The Japanese full back has made a solid start to life at Arsenal which is why he's in my team. He was solid defensively throughout September and was a key player in the Gunners' improvement after a poor start.
CB: RUBEN DIAS (MAN CITY) - City went the whole of September without conceding a goal and Dias was a huge part of that. He put in solid performances throughout the month like he usually does and stepped up as a leader when given the captains armband.
CB: ANTONIO RUDIGER (CHELSEA) - Rudiger was solid throughout September at the heart of the Chelsea defence as they continued their strong start to the season. He netted in their win at Spurs and has put in solid performances whenever he's been on the pitch.
LB: JOAO CANCELO (MAN CITY) - Cancelo was excellent in both departments for City during September by being solid defensively and a threat going forward. He put in asolid performances week in week out and set up the crucial winning goal for Gabriel Jesus in their win at Chelsea.
CDM: THOMAS PARTEY (ARSENAL) - One of the reasons for Arsenal's improvement at the back has been the return of this man in their midfield. Partey has given the defence the protection they needed after their poor start and he makes the Gunners a more solid team because of that.
CM: ABDOULAYE DOUCOURE (EVERTON) - Doucoure registered 1 goal and 2 assists during September as Everton kept up their strong start to the season. He brings a lot of energy to the Everton midfield and has been an important player for them so far this season.
CM: MATEO KOVACIC (CHELSEA) - Kovacic played every every minute of every game during September where he registered 1 goal and 2 assists. He stepped up in the absence of N'Golo Kante and he showed how important he can when needed by putting in good solid performances.
RW: MOHAMED SALAH (LIVERPOOL) - Salah netted in every game during September where he scored his 100th Premier League goal as well as his 100th Premier League goal for Liverpool. He's been in fine for since the start of the season and has been crucial to the reds' strong start by scoring the amount of goals he has done.
LW: ISMAILA SARR (WATFORD) - Sarr scored 3 times during September and has looked dangerous whenever he's had the ball in the opposition half. He's been a key player for the hornets so far this season and I expect he will be for the rest of the campaign.
ST: CRISTIANO RONALDO (MAN UNITED) - Ronaldo has made an instant impact since returning to Old Trafford by scoring 3 goals during September. He's given the whole place a lift at 36 years of age, he's still got that short yard of pace and goal scoring touch.
