Premier League Fixtures Verdict

The Premier League fixtures for the 2021/22 season were announced today with a few interesting games to kick off the season.

Champions Man City kick off their title defence with a tough trip to Spurs whilst Man United kick their season off against Leeds at Old Trafford. Those two games are without a doubt the biggest of the opening weekend and they'll hopefully be a good watch because of the qualities they all possess.

Bruno Lage kicks off his tenure at Wolves with a tough trip to Champions League chasing Leicester which should be another close game due to the strength of both sides on paper. Everton who are yet to appoint a new manager following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti kick their campaign off against Southampton whilst another manager less club in Crystal Palace have a very tough start against Champions League winners Chelsea.

City and Chelsea have the toughest run ins out of all the teams hoping to compete for the title with City taking on Arsenal, Chelsea, Leicester and Liverpool in four of their opening seven games following their opening game with Spurs whilst Chelsea take on Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs along with their clash with City in four of their opening seven fixtures.

Watford have the most winnable opening fixture out of all the newly promoted sides as they face Aston Villa whilst Norwich take on Liverpool and Brentford take on Arsenal. Norwich have the toughest start out of all of them as they face Man City, Leicester and Arsenal in their opening four including their opening game against Liverpool.
