Premier League and FA Cup Predictions

WEDNESDAY:

FA CUP 4TH ROUND REPLAY

SUNDERLAND V FULHAM

Sunderland gave it a good go in the first game and they even could've won it. Only for 15 year old Chris Rigg to have his goal ruled out by VAR. Luckily there won't be any VAR in this time round which will bring a smile to all their fans' faces.

They'll definitely give it another good go even though they're missing one or two key players through injury including top scorer Ross Stewart. But with the home crowd behind them and the way that the team have played this season, they'll surely give it another good go.

Fulham made a number of changes for the game at Craven Cottage and they might make a similar amount for this one. I hope they field strong team for this game as the FA Cup is a competition they can go far in and have a good go at. They're having a top season in the Premier League so why not go on a cup run alongside that.

PREDICTION: 2-1

I fancy Sunderland to cause an upset here as their performance from the first game will give them confidence and will have the home crowd behind them to push them all the way. They might be missing one or two important players through injury but of they can play like they did at Craven Cottage, they have a chance of causing an upset.

PREMIER LEAGUE FIXTURE

MAN UNITED V LEEDS

These two teams play were due to play each other in September only for the game to be called off due to a lack of Police security following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. They play each other again this weekend.

The fear factor is back at Old Trafford with United having not lost at home since the opening day of the season. They've also won their last seven games at home in the Premier League which will give them even more confidence going into this game.

They'll be without Casemiro for this one and the next two after his sending off against Crystal Palace. This is a major blow for Erik Ten Hag's side because of how influential the Brazilian has been for them this season. They've struggled without him in the side and they might drop some points over the next few games without him.

Leeds sacked Jesse Marsch on Monday and it's a decision I'm not all surprised with. They're without a win in eight league games and they find themselves outside the bottom three only on goal difference. Their performances haven't been that bad this season as they've given it their all and created a lot of chances. But they just couldn't put the ball in the net.

The players might respond in this game as some teams do in their first game since their manager was sacked. But with this game being so soon after the decision was made, Leeds might not play as well because they might still be processing what has happened.

PREDICTION: 5-0

I'm going for a Man United win here and a comfortable one as they're in good form at home and will have more than enough quality to win the game. They might be without Casemiro as he's suspended but with their forward players in good form, they should still win this one reasonably comfortably.
