GK: GIANLUIGI DONNARUMMA (ITALY) - Donnarumma was a solid presence between the sticks throughout the entire tournament by making lots of important saves as Italy went all the way. He was voted player of the tournament and is looking like a top class keeper at just 22 years of age.
RB: KYLE WALKER (ENGLAND) - Walker was excellent in both departments during England's run to the final which is why he's in my team. He did a job wherever he was asked to play thanks to his pace and reading of the game.
CB: LEONARDO BONUCCI (ITALY) - Bonucci played every minute of every game at this tournament as Italy went all the way. He was rock solid throughout and still has many more years left in him at 34.
CB: HARRY MAGUIRE (ENGLAND) - I've put Maguire alongside Bonucci at the back because he was rock solid throughout the tournament. He may have missed the first two games but Maguire still did enough to earn a place in this team.
LB: LUKE SHAW (ENGLAND) - Shaw was a constant threat down England's left hand side throughout the tournament in getting balls into the box and making bursting runs forward. I put him in ahead of Spinazzola because he registered 3 assists which was more than any other full back at this tournament.
RW: RAHEEM STERLING (ENGLAND) - Sterling was England's go to man at this tournament which is why he's in the team. He showed how important he is to England by scoring 3 goals and being a threat whenever he was near the six yard box.
CM: JORGINHO (ITALY) - Jorginho was in my opinion the best midfielder at this tournament by dictating play in midfield with his range of passing. His presence in the midfield enabled Italy to be solid defensively and free flowing in attack.
CM: NICOLO BARELLA (ITALY) - I've put Barella in this team because of how important he was in the Italy midfield as the Italians went all the way. He brought lots of energy to the team in winning the ball back and was impressive in almost every game he played in.
LW: FEDERICO CHIESA (ITALY) - Chiesa was an important player for the Italians at these finals by scoring crucial goals and putting in good performances in every game he played. Whenever the Italians needed their attacking players to step up, Chiesa did exactly that by scoring two goals which is why he's in the team.
ST: PATRIK SCHICK (CZECH REPUBLIC) - Schick shared the golden boot with Cristiano Ronaldo with 5 goals which is why he's in the team. He scored in every round of the tournament and without him the Czech would not have reached the Quarter Finals.
ST: ROMELU LUKAKU (BELGIUM) - Lukaku showed why he's one of the best strikers in Europe at this tournament by scoring 4 goals as Belgium reached the Quarter Finals. He was arguably the most consistent striker of the tournament despite missing out on the golden boot to Ronaldo and Schick.
