FA Cup Quarter Final Draw Verdict

The draw for the FA Cup Quarter Finals was made yesterday with some very interesting ties to look forward to later this month.

Championship Middlesbrough have another chance to pull off another upset as they take on Chelsea having already knocked out Man United and Spurs. Either Nottingham Forest or Huddersfield will also have a tough tie to look forward to as whoever wins that tie on Monday will be taking on Liverpool.

The other two ties should both be good and close games as Premier League leaders Man City travel to in form Southampton and Crystal Palace take on Everton.

City will be favourites in their tie against Southampton but as the Saints took points off them twice in the Premier League this season, the game should be a lot closer than most people will think. The Saints will be facying themselves to get something against them again.

Crystal Palace against Everton should also be a close game as they can both play a similar style and both have good players going forward. It will arguably be the closest game out of all the ties in this round as they're both similar in quality and closer to each other in the league table.

FULL QUARTER FINAL DRAW:

Crystal Palace v Everton

Middlesbrough v Chelsea

Nottingham Forest/Huddersfield v Liverpool

Southampton v Man City
