2021: A Review of the Year

2021 was a year where football as we know it returned and also a year with many moments to remember.

Fans were back in full capacity stadiums after months of watching games with empty stadiums from their homes and when they did we realised how important the fans are to our game. They gave their team the extra support they missed in the first part of the year and the game just wasn't the same without them.

On the pitch there were plenty of moments to savour. Great games took place, the top players continued to deliver and we finally got to see the tournament we waited a year for in the Euros. What a year it has been.

Below is my review of 2021 including teams of the year, best moments of the year for each month, the best goals and each Premier League clubs' best player throughout the calendar year.
